Love this place. Great rooms, breakfast included, evening happy hour with snacks. Even though it was totally booked it did not feel crowded. Stayed here twice now and will be back. Great location for exploring the Duval Street section of Key West on foot. Close to Mallory Square, Sloppy Joe's, Margaritaville, Sunset Pier and Captain Tony's.

Cypress House is a gem. It is close enough to the action, but fast enough away that it's quiet (at least in 613). Everyone working has been wonderful.

My experience at this hotel was amazing. Loved the room and the pool. They also have happy hours where you get free drinks and some food. The staff was very helpful and courteous especially Craig at the front desk.

Location is convenient but there is not parking space so you have to use the public one which is 400m away.
The hotel is actually 3 typical Key West old wooden houses that surround a tiny pool.
It is a cosy experience to reside in a house like that, but cosiness stops there.
Because although our room was spacious, clean and sympathique, it hardly had some daylight during the day while at night we could not sleep, because of the very soft and saggy mattress, the window ac unit that was extremely noisy and the fridge that when its motor was on it was like a truck was in our room!
Breakfast was one of the poorest we ever had.The space available to guests around the pool was really limited and it's the only common space available. There you take breakfast swim etc.
For the above reasons we do not recommend the hotel and its price i(235$) is extremely high.response / report this review -

Fantastic hotel. The room was beautiful and modern, the staff was hospitable and friendly, and 'Liming Hour' is an excellent tradition (snacks and cocktails poolside at 4:30pm). It's also close to most of the hot spots you'll want to see, but not on top of them, so you can sleep at night. Can't wait to stay here again.

Only visited the bar, and server was friendly and quick in filling order. Plus you got to oversee the ocean. Nice crowd of people of all walk of life. Food being served around me smell and look good.

We needed a last minute room to stay in Key West and stumbled across this beauty. The room was very pretty with high ceilings and wood floors. The stand up shower in the bathroom was very large and relaxing. My favorite part was the pool. Although somewhat small, we relaxed there all night in a great ambiance. It was lit up nicely surrounded by palms and it was super quiet. My only complaint is the parking situation but other than that, we enjoyed our stay.response / report this review -

Cypress House Hotel is two blocks from Duval Street on Caroline. Operated similar to a bed and breakfast, the rooms have been remodeled from older houses. The service has been great so far, and includes a continental breakfast in the morning and happy hour snack and drinks in the afternoon.

We stayed for two nights and had a great room on the 3rd floor. Very nice and clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Good happy hour and light breakfast. Great wifi reception in our room. Very enjoyable stay.
