A wonderful experience. Great show and cast and very friendly and helpful staff.
Everyone needs a good laugh. This is your chance, and the talent in Sander's Family Christmas is amazing.
This is a great place! Would give 5 stars if they had theater style popcorn instead of microwave popcorn like you make at home.
Great show as usual. Drowsy Chaperone is full of talent and very well done and very funny.
When traveling to middle TN, we love coming to CCP!! Seeing Sister Act today. What a wonderful array of talent under one roof. If you are in the area, get tickets to this one.
Praise Him with some excellent comic company!
Great way to spend an afternoon. The singers/actors are very talented. Well worth the visit.
We really enjoyed both Sister Act and Beauty and the Beast, however we didn't realize that Sister Act would not be the same music, so that was a little disappointing. Didnt have cash for consessions, so no treats for us the first time. Seats are not staggered, so hard for us shorter people to see, but the performances were fabulous. Revamp seating would be our only suggestion. Staff and casts were super friendly and helpful.
I came here as a kid, came back 25 years later to see Million Dollar Quartet And it was WONDERFUL ! I suggest picking out a show, and attend !
Last night we saw Smoke on the Mountain, fantastic!!! We laughed so much and had a great time.
This has become our home away from home. We thoroughly enjoy this place. Have been getting season tickets for years now. More fun than Dollywood!
Had never been and was so amazed at the talent and singing. Will go again for sure. Saw Mary Poppins and really enjoyed it..Everyone should go.
Our visit to the playhouse was to see "Annie Get Your Gun", with Kelly Cash as the lead (Annie Oakley), playing May 2 - July 11 2014. Our tickets were for the 2:30 afternoon showing on July 3rd.
We purchased tickets online which were fairly reasonable (~$25, with kids under 18 being ~$13!), although since we were vacationing, seating was limited, and we sat in the first and second rows with our party of six. This made viewing the side stages (which were used for several scenes) much more difficult. If you have the option, take seating further to the rear, as that would seem to be a better option than the front rows in this venue.
The production proved to be better than I had expected, and the leads (Kelly Cash and Britt Hancock) did a wonderful job. The story (with some minor modifications) was as expected, and the musical numbers, ensembles, and orchestra provided good accompaniment.
The only downsides were the playhouse and parking access. The playhouse is showing it's age, and some signs (internal, superficial?) of water damage and dated decor. The parking is typically designed for arrivals, and not departures. Given the exceptionally reasonable pricing, I'm overlooking these shortcomings and rounding up my 4.5 start review to 5. I'd recommend this particular production to anyone, and if other productions are of similar quality, would consider seeing any of their productions money well spent while in Crossville, TN.
