Friendly staff, extremely helpful. The grounds are so quiet and the other campers tend to be so friendly.

Not my kind of camping no grass to be found. Very small lot. The water was yellow, even with the water filter. I didn't even like to wash dishes in it. The people we talked to were very friendly and the park was kept clean. We were parked next to a Seasonal . They were extremely loud all the way up to 11 o'clockvery rude. We will not stay here again.

Nice location and beach area. Unfortunately, the facilities seem to be run down. Bathrooms weren't in great shape, store had little to offer. The ladies working in the front office weren't very friendly or helpful. I did like the woodsy setting and there was a very kind man who would come clean up sites for the next campers. If they can improve on somethings, I think it could be a very nice campground. The location is great being so close to Pentwater.

Crystal Lake Camp Ground has a beautiful woodsy setting near Ludington. Simply a nice spot for the weekend or the whole summer!

Went to visit our kids and grandchildren who were camping for Labor Day weekend. Stopped at the gate and was advised by a very rude elderly lady who stated it was $5.00 to enter. What???? Then stated it was the rules. Are they that money hungry to charge entry fees? Campground was very crowded and dirty looking. My kids advised us that the bathrooms were filthy and that they would never camp there again.!!!

The most terrible experience I ever had. Would never camp here again. I reserved our spot months ahead to make sure we had a spot because we had family meeting up with us coming from 2 directions around the country. When we arrived they had overbooked and gave our sight away. Finally found us a spot but we had to move the next day to another spot. We were mainly focused on our family that we had not seen for awhile and just wanted to get settled in with them. Nobody was rude, angry, or impolite. The next day my daughter drove in and after driving 3 hrs. they were giving her a hard time. I went to speak with the owner and after all they had put us through he started cussing at us. Very unstable person. We ended up packing up our camp and went to a state campground down the road that was very nice.

The good news is the entire campground is very well shaded; probably the best of any I have been to.
The downside is that the sites are rather small and close together. Not a big deal, but I prefer a little more privacy. The showers and bathrooms are nothing special, but neither were they as bad as some have indicated. The hosts seemed to be very nice people. I would definitely consider this place again.response / report this review -

Worst customer service EVER! This campground will rip you off!! I reserved a campsite a month in advance and before I gave my credit information I asked about the cancelation policy, was told they like 7 days. After booking our schedule changed and I had to sadly cancel. When I called to cancel I asked if the money would go back on card and she said yes. Looked on my bank statement and I was shorted $15! When I called about it the lady was rude and told me its a cancelation fee and I was NOT getting my $ back even though I was NEVER told about it both times. The owner will not return my call and the employees are just down right RUDE!
