Comfortable and friendly. Good American style diner food. This is my go to place for a decent meal at a reasonable price.
Hell yeah I love this place. Friendly staff, fairly fast lines even when really busy. Great waffles, egg dishes, and chicken fried steak. I’d say stick to the breakfast menu for the most part, although the open faced sandwiches on egg bread aren’t bad. You get a ton of food here for the money. It’s also very kid friendly. My top pick for a dad & son brunch.
There is no question that the Crystal Creek Cafe is without doubt, the best restaurant in the Bothell area. And because it is part of a chain I can truly say that it is the best chain in Western Washington. At each restaurant the staff have no comparison in service and friendliness. The quality of the food both in flavor and portions have no comparison. The pricing is also most reasonable considering the portion sizing you receive. You also have the option of ordering a 1/2 size serving and trust me it is a very nice serving. The only regret I have for this restaurant is submitting this review because it will mean more people visiting this cafe, making the wait time a little longer. I forgot to mention, if you want the best fish and chips in the Seattle area which includes Pierce and Snohomish County please order them at the Cafe. It is the purest white Cod with Panko type coating and the serving size has no comparison and yes add the sidewinder fries with the fish you will be glad you did. I only wish they served their famous clam chowder during the evening hours. They only serve it during lunch time. That does not stop me from ordering it when we go over on Sunday for breakfast so I can save it for later in the week after it has aged.
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality and freshness of my breakfast. Delicious omelettes. My avocado and the fruit bowl were very good. There wasn't a crumb left on my plate when I finished. Good service. Fair prices.
Food is amazing and ridiculously fresh. The service is sometimes a bit slow, but this isn't a cheap, fast food joint. You're getting homemade food, made to order. The ambience is nice and perfectly suited for families.
Unique menu with friendly staff that's worth the wait! This food is delicious! Plenty of parking adjacent as well.
We have been going here for at least 5 years. It has always been good. Good food, good portions, good service. Expect to wait on Saturday morning even though it's a big place.
Great place for breakfast with an old school dinner feel. I have been here a few times now and the service and food have always been good. Does get a little busy though so get there early if u go on the weekend!
Excellent food and excellent service! However the table wasn't thoroughly cleaned. I would recommend Crystal Cafe to anyone and I have been going there for years. They serve the best coffee even on a very hot day.
Like its sister cafes in Redmond and Woodinville (and?) there is an atmosphere of an old time cafe with counter and friendly waitstaff. This cafe has a bar section and an aviation theme. Moderate (cafe) prices, wide-ranging menu, and breakfast is always available. Parking is tight, and returning to Bothell-Everett Hwy and 405 is round-about.
The atmosphere is cozy with a 1940s theme while waiting for your food you can look at "exhibits" of memorabilia from the WWII era.Rosie the Riveter adorns one wall while large aeroplane hangs form the ceiling. In line with the decor the food as well is quite good. Old fashion shakes where you get the extra that wouldn't fit in the glass in the mixing cup. the menu changes with the seasons to incorporate fresh produce and such. If your looking for take out they also will prepare your food and you can just swig by and pick it up. I dine there once or twice a month,. Prices are reasonable.. not too steep. I recommend taking home a cinnamon roll.. they are dinner plate size and so good..
I enjoy this cafe. I've been coming here for around a decade. The food is generally good and I've never had a bad experience though sometimes it can be slow to get food to the table.
Going on a Sunday morning is asking for trouble as that seems to be their busiest time of the week. You can expect to wait up to an hour for a table on a Sunday.
The decor is a throwback to the 50s and 60s (at least that is my impression) but done tastefully.
This is a small chain as there are other Cafes of this type in cities nearby but this one is still my favorite.
Good food, good service. They're always friendly and prompt. Most recently I had the Bacon cheddar burger. It was perfectly come with just the right balance of drippy juicy deliciousness and firm but tender texture.
First time for me, but family members go there more frequently. Great diner for breakfast and lunch type food. We had the eggs Benedict, Monte Cristo, omelet and eggs - all were great! Not the cheapest, but reasonable and a good deal for what you get. Looking forward to more meals there in the future.
