  One of the longest active Seattle microbrews and they haven't changed much over the years. Still putting out a great amber at a reasonable price and widely available. The brewery tours here are a lot of fun and the staff is great.

  I was a little sad with my visit because I am not familiar with the area and thought it had a taproom! My fault though. But just a heads up they have a small gift shop/tasting room. You can get free samples of their current beer line up and either bring a growler or buy a growler to fill. They also had several bottles on sale! I snagged a barrel aged black IPA. It was pretty awesome because they had bottles of it from the last 3 years with different barrel treatments! All the samples I had were good.

  My favourite brewery! African Amber can be found in all local pubs and it shouldn't be a surprise. It's one of the best all-around beers you cannot buy outside Seattle area.
