Great place for food and drink. Delicious menu. Fabulous beer menu. On site parking History abounds on the walls. Friendly service Would visit again if in Savannah.

I had a Mexican chocolate beer, which was really awesome. Their beer selection was high quality with many different options, but the food wasn't awesome. We tried their butternut squash soup (with very dry cornbread), chicken salad sandwich, spaghetti, and a few other things. The service was good and it was an overall pleasant experience. It was also one of the very few places open for dinner on a Sunday night.

This place is a classic. If there is a wait for a table, just go the bar. They always have great stuff, especially local, on tap. Some of the best crab stew and shrimp salad that you'll find in Savannah. Also, if they have the fried duck wings, get them. You can't go wrong here.

the shrimp and grits here was the best shrimp and grits I've had in my life. Seriously, I have to write this review for it. And I'm comparing with best. Blue Marlin in Cola, SC; Skippers' Fish Camp, etc. This is the best. It's not your standard cheap breakfast dish. Get it for you dinner, you will be very satisfied!!! Amazing smoky flavors, fresh shrimp (you can tell) and a real chef on the line cooking it. You can taste the quality. This is a good Savannah restaurant establishment for sure. Value, food, atmosphere, price are all a solid balance. It is worthy of 5 stars for a nice sit-down meal.

We had a great experience. We had wanted mussels, but by the time we ordered they had just ran out, so we ordered blackened shrimp. After our server had left we found our from the table next to us that the fried shrimp was some of the best they ever had. Fortunately, a manager was out, heard our situation, and said she would go back and see what she could do. When our food came out they had found some more mussels, and brought us blackened and fried shrimp, with the fried being on the house. The food was excellent and the service even better.

One of the best establishments in Savannah. Awesome menu and a full bar. Tourists and locals flock to the Crystal Beer Parlor. It is unique and comfortable. Excellent service. Usually there is a line to get in, but it is so worth the wait.

We loved this place-from the lovely walk we took to get here to the service and food! We started with an order of fried green tomatoes and loved everything after. The shrimp and grits were super rich and delicious with the perfect amount of flavor. My husband ordered their crab stew which they're known for and it was quite good- you may even find bits of crab shell in the soup (which they warn you about on the menu). Great selection of beer. And this place is toddler approved. For those parents out there, there are changing tables in the restroom- which are hard to come by. We will be back!

This place was such a gem! We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the southern fried green tomatoes and the gumbo. The bartender made the most delicious shaken
daiquiri I have ever had, which was suggested by Paige, the general manager. They also offer a huge beer selection. In addition to the food and drinks, Paige and the service overall made us want to become regulars! This place made our trip to Savannah all the more memorable.

I am typically here with a group which of course means hanging around the bar and having a drink with your friends until tables become available. You can fit a fairly large ground at the bar and there is plenty of standing room to hang out in if the bar seats are taken. All of the staff are attentive and I have never encountered issues. The food is quite good and, of course, there is a great selection of beer. I ate here several times while visiting Savannah, and now I eat here as a resident of Savannah. Every time I've come here I ended up being seated at the same spot - in a separate little room near the entrance with five tables surrounded by historical photos and artwork related to the resteraunt, which has been around since the 30s.

We arrived slightly before opening but were seated and offered a wine or cocktail. The waitress was knowledgeable about the wines. Both my friend and I had the onion soup. Delicious. I had the duck which was cooked to perfection. My friend's shrimp crepes were divine.

My daughter and I visited Savannah for a Girls Getaway. We had seen the Pink House while on a walking tour and wanted to dine there. What a lovely place! We ate in the bar as we did not have a reservation. The hostess was very kind. The bar tenders were attentive, knowledgeable, and made our meal great fun.

If you're looking for VERY traditional American fare and style, this is your place! However, if you are looking for a location which actually uses decent quality ingredients, avoid this place. Based on their hamburgers and fries, I would equate this location to McDonald's, but just a hair better. McDonald's burgers are slightly mushier. Now, if they cost 2-3 dollars less, this would be completely reasonable. I guess that's what you get at a classic area restaurant though.

A friendly and popular pub / restaurant with a lot of old local photographs and memorabilia on the walls. We ate at the bar to avoid the wait list which saved us about 15 minutes. The beer selection was very large and the bartenders were very attentive. The oyster sandwich was delicious along with a salad which had a unusual name. I'd definitely return if I was in the area.
