Favorite place to get dessert! Will skip dessert at any restaurant so my husband will bring me here for a night cap & creme brule! When we got engaged we mentioned it in conversation to our waitress who then surprised us with Chocolate covered strawberries on a plate with a sweet message! Drinks are amazing as well! Must try!

Went to Lulu's for dessert because a friend recommended it to us. Excellent experience from start to finish! The bar/restaurant has a classy atmosphere. Menu is nicely varied. Settled on the Rapture Sundae. I've never had a dessert this good. SERIOUSLY. Do yourself a favor and check this place out!

It was fabulous!! I got the pecan praline pie. One of my sisters got an enormous piece of pumpkin spice cake and had to take half with her. My other sister got chocolate fondue with bananas, strawberries, macaroons and shortbread cookies. We sat outside enjoying the great weather.

The desserts here are really good. I always get the chocolate covered strawberries. You have the option of white or dark chocolate or can mix. You get three per serving. I don't know where they get their strawberries from, but they are always sweet. juicy, and plump.

They have a few desserts that are always in house - strawberry suspension cake and white chocolate chip cheesecake - and then they have some that are constantly rotated out. There is fondue available and cheese plates.

If you're planning on going during a Friday or Saturday night, be prepared to wait. Seating and atmosphere is very cozy and can be on the intimate side.

If you're a chocolate fiend like me, then I suggest the sipping chocolate. It's an espresso cup filled to the brim with melted dark chocolate and topped with whip cream for $2. It's comfort and happiness in a tiny cup with a tiny spoon and saucer.

There is some confusion from my side. I tried to do a reservation over the phone once, but was told that they don't do reservations. When I stopped by one day, I saw two tables pushed together with a reservation sign on the table

On busy nights, there will be a hostess outside who will take your name and number if there is a wait. They use a popular app to keep track and notify people when their tables are available and how long their wait is (the name escapes me). It's nifty because instead of waiting around for a table, it gives you the opportunity to go mingle somewhere else.

The waitstaff is very young - we're a college town and SCAD is located in downtown Savannah - and sometimes not very attentive. They could be helping to prepare the desserts - not really sure. Don't surprised if your desserts take some time to get to your table - especially if there are a lot of you in one group.

My husband and I walked to LuLu's Chocolate Bar to sit down and enjoy an afternoon snack. The girl behind the counter wanted to know what we wanted. Didn't even give us a chance to look let alone sit down. My husband told her what he wanted. She said is that all with me still looking. So I made a decision real quick. We still hadn't been in the place 3 minutes! Then she puts it in a to go container. I asked about drinks and she huffily stomps over and hands me a menu! I order a hot chocolate which she unhappily fixes and puts in a to go cup! By this time we figure we were not welcome and left! We are an older couple and we're dressed nicely. It was hours before they were scheduled to close also. I would NOT RECCOMEND this place! You are not wanted there.

This place is so cute! We came here in the afternoon after we had been drinking and needed a little caffeine pick me up, but it is so cute for a date! It has a full bar and serves the most delicious desserts.
I could see how at night it would provide the perfect atmosphere for a date! I absolutely loved this place. We had the Smore double espresso. It was the perfect combination if sweet and coffee. On their menu they even had coffee drinks spiked with alcohol if we had wanted to continue drink (but we had a long day ahead of us and my hubs is a light weight.. JK honey in case you read this You are the man & I love you 💋). Anyway, their desserts were mouthwatering I thought about licking the display case but my husband general is stays embarrassed by me so I didn't want to spoil the afternoon. Men listen up, if you are trying to score some points this is the place. This could also be a really fun girls night out, leave the hubs home with the kids night (wink wink). I say this place is a must go to.

We had a group of 12. Having come here before with a large group, we let them know at the get-go it would be okay to table us in groups of 4 or so. They gave us a 45-minute wait time, so we hung out, waiting. We watched as they seated several tables of people who came after we did, into tables of 2-4, even 6. Finally, after an hour and 15 minutes of watching customers leave where we COULD have been seated, but were NOT, we confronted the "hostesses" and were fed a bunch of lame excuses for, essentially, a lack of rational crowd management skills. We did (10 of us -one couple gave up and left), eventually, get seated in tables next to each other (after about an hour and a half wait time).
Undeniably, Lulu's Chocolate Bar has fantastic delicacies and beverages, and when we finally got served, we did enjoy them. The mismanagement of the "hostesses" and the unapologetic excuses, when we repeatedly (at least 4 times) expressed a willingness to be split up into separate groups, left this reviewer with a strong (unfortunately) negative impression of this business. Perhaps a change in management could improve the attitude? How about some training?

I had a blackberry sangria. Bit of a strange taste for me. Had the chocolate cake with strawberry suspension. Didn't like the chocolate, the strawberry was sour. Had the cheese plater. The cow milk cheese was great and the bread was good. The server was very polite. Would I eat there again. Probably not.

Best Dessert Bar ever! In addition to several gluten free choices offered, the martini choices helped set a fun atmosphere. Then the music! I'm one of those people that lives with music in the background daily. The choices played there set the tone for fun, chic and mysterious!

Any place named "Chocolate Bar", such as Lulu's, should have an excellent assortment of desserts and dessert drinks. Lulu's lives up to that promise with their decadent cakes and cocktails. Lulu's has the benefit of being able to change things up easily, with seasonal desserts constantly helping keep things from getting stale. This is a great place to meet your friends for a nightcap after a meal or exploring the Historic District. Not up for hanging out? You can always take your delicious delights to-go.

Ummm I was very excited to try Lulu's I heard so much great things about them that I just have to give them a try. So a girlfriend and I linked up one Friday night and decided to give them a try. We got their about 8:25 an had a 15 minute wait which I thought was pretty great considering it was a Friday night. We get seated and our waiter was great he was knowledgeable about the product he gave great suggestions on what was good and what he liked and so far I'm enjoying my experience. The joys ends when we start looking at the desserts 🍨 and I decide on the White Chocolate 🍫 Cheesecake, the cheesecake tastes dry and limited flavor my guest ordered the turtle cheesecake I asked about switching my orders to the that to which he replied "no you can't do that you would have to buy a another cake", so I'm slightly annoyed, but I'm trying to make the best out of this night. So I'm like never mind I'll just ordered another drink I order a salt caramel martini 🍸 and when I say it was nasty 😷 yuck!' I was like I can't drink can you take it off my bill and he again was like "no we can't take it off your bill we can make you another drink" and I was like I don't want anything else I just some want to pay for that drink I don't like I'm already paying for a cake I don't like. So he's getting annoyed and he walks over to his manager and they talk for a few minutes and he comes back over and was like "my manager said you can keep the drink and we won't charge for it", but he say it in a way as if he feels I just order the drink just to complain, because I was upset about the cake. So I am no I don't want to pay for it so you can have it back. He took the drink didn't ask my guest if she wanted anything else came back with our bills, so I'm like ok cool no worries his tip is going to reflect his poor attitude. But I'm willing to give them another try in the near future.

Was really excited to visit this place as it is highly recommended on all sites. The chocolate martini was delicious and STRONG! However, I was highly disappointed in the attitude of the staff to the point I would never go back or recommend them. After ordering me and my husband decided to sit down and enjoy our drink and chocolate strawberries (very expensive) and the server told us we ordered to go and couldn't sit. Mind you there were 2 other people in the whole place and the setup looks like a cafe. I explained we did order to go but changed our mind and would prefer to sit. They told us we had to leave. ZERO customer service
