The hotel was decent enough. Inexpensive parking is located across the street in the lot. Get the $8 day parking pass. The room was also adequate, but the bathroom was lacking. This hotel is only 8 years old yet the tub had one of those retrofitted plastic covers so it's not flat on the bottom which makes it uncomfortable to stamd in. Also the surround was cheap plastic that didn't even matcb in color. For a Marriott class 7 hotel, this one didn't measure up.

This is one of my favorite properties to stay at when I'm in Savannah. It's rooms are clean and comfortable, though a bit dated. Some of them are rather large. There is a restaurant on site and nearby places to grab food and drinks. Though not located Central to the historic district, you are just a short still away. It's readily accessible from the highway. And last, but not least, every staff member I've dealt with had been exceptionally helpful and courteous.

Nice hotel with very friendly, polite, and efficient staff. Reasonable rate, nice clean rooms. Good location within a reasonable walk of some restaurants and attractions. But valet parking only so add that to your daily rate. Fast valet service, just call ahead for your car. Overall highly recommend.

We reserved a room for 2 nights for a family wedding. Reservation with cc card was made about 2 months ahead of time. We confirmed on day of arrival that we were coming late and told they had one last room for us. When we arrived, they had given our room away and moved us to another hotel down the road that was dirty and smaller room. We had to check and wait until the afternoon to see if they had a room. I asked to speak to the manager twice and later told he was not in that day but would call me Monday. Never heard from him. I had to call the reservation customer care number to confirm a room on the second night. BEWARE!! Room was nice and clean once we got into it.

Very fast hassle free check in process . Staff was friendly and quick to acknowledge you and offer suggestions to make your stay more pleasant. Coffee in the lobby was good. Room was a queen double in the 1st floor facing the street, room was clean and neat , the bathroom was clean. The only negative ( trivial) was the shower/tub was dated and heavily caulked there were paint marks on the door . We decided to skip the mandatory valet parking as it's 24 a day and instead choose to park across the street for 5.00 a day. The location is good, if you don't mind a walk it's easy to get to the River Front or various points in the Historic district. Uber drivers are a plenty and at no point did we wait longer than 2 min for a ride.

This is nice hotel right in front of City center. It's good hotel old looking building and inside is pretty good. Prices are decent. Sound comes from Windows if some vehicle with powerful engine passes by. That may disturb u. It disturbed me badly in my 2 nights stay here.

We asked about parking and they said that we could either choose valet parking. Or we'd have to choose a spot on the road to park (there aren't many close). However they failed to mention the parking desk right next to the hotel that is cheaper to park in and is where I would park next time if I were to stay here. Other than that the rooms were nice. Beds comfy and clean. Good location if you're looking to go on the trolley tours. Would stay here again just wouldn't choose the valet parking.

Beautiful hotel. Very nice staff and close to both the riverfront and historic area. Our AC did stop working in the middle of our first night and the fixed it when we called in the morning but it was hot and uncomfortable :/ also got a little frustrated at the check out when we called for the car and they did not send for it. When the attendant realized he was extremely apologetic and ran to get the car. Overall the staff was very friendly and helpful, I asked for extra make up wipes and our housekeeper happily gave them to me. I would recommend this place definitely just make sure your AC works and your car gets pulled up!

The worst experience we have ever had with a hotel, 4 rooms later, and a breakfast comp is where we were left. They did nothing to make our stay better, as well as they kept switching our room because they were disgusting and had hair in bath tub, showers were full of soap scum as well as the bed had hair in it when I pulled back the sheets. No words for what we went through this weekend. On our fourth room, I finally got the chance to talk to a manager, she explained her apologies and told us she was putting us in another spa room. She asked us to call her when we were ready to switch rooms and she would walk us to our room. We called her not even ten minutes after we got in the room telling her we were ready, TWO HOURS later I finally just went down stairs and told them we had a dinner cruise to make and could not wait any longer. The front desk associate hurried up and got us in a room and we went and looked in the tub and there was still hair in there. No customers should ever had to go through this , especially when we are Marriott rewards members which now we are thinking we will never stay at another. This was by far one of the worst vacations.

Comfortable room & friendly staff. Located in short walking distance to dining, shopping, local and tourist attractions. Can pick up trolly tours across the street. Cons: Hallways outside the rooms need some TLC, and better attention while pushing carts. Only Valet Parking, but can park for free in the street on weekends.

The rooms are very nice and comfortable. However, the staff seems very fake and overly nice. The breakfast service is much better than most hotels. I removed one star simply because of the location. While it does give a convenience by being close to most tourist attractions of downtown Savannah, the residents are just too loud, the cars are constantly honking and because of this, it's very difficult to get decent sleep.

This was my first trip to Savannah, I made my reservation through Priceline for what I thought was a great price for a hotel in the historical district. The cons to me are: I was not aware the hotel only has valet parking which was $24 a day in their parking garage, or you could park in the public parking garage beside the hotel for $12 a day. Also I was not aware that there was not a complimentary breakfast, you are charged seperately each time $8-$12 a person, the room was very clean and nice with a view of the street but had a strange musty type of odor. The pros are: The hotel is beautiful and very clean.Good location to historic parks and downtown shops, and restaurants if you don"t mind walking which I enjoyed. The Distillery across the street is a must for good food, atmosphere and unique beverages, the hotel is a close distance to the visitors center where you can get maps and info. Most of all the hotel staff was all very friendly and smiling from the valets, to the ladies at the front desk, to the housekeepers and the barkeep, and always welcomed us back after our walks. There was always fresh coffee and fruit infused water.

Right in the main road, easy access to the historic district and 16. Comfortable beds, friendly staff. Definitely an older hotel, with a lot of wear and tear showing, especially in the elevators, and the room I was in (panels and rails detaching from walls, carpeting held down by tape, etc.). One weird thing was the rooms at the ends of the building have large windows occupying most of one wall. Especially since they are not frosted, and they use a 2-part curtain that doesn't ENTIRELY cover the window but does cause some obstruction for other facilities, it was a bit uncomfortable.

Room was not very clean upon arrival, housekeepers were all super nice though. Most staff members were helpful, however the valet staff are loud and flat out lie about parking when you arrive. I am sure management makes them, but there is a parking garage literally as soon as you leave their lot that is less than 1/2 the price. The valet staff made several sarcastic remarks when we chose to save $16 a day by parking in the garage. The hotel should be a 3 star at the most but like I said the housekeeping staff were especially polite and helpful.
