Liked everything about our stay. Very quiet, clean, convenient location, polite attentive staff. Small fitness center was sufficient for a light workout. Decent little spa by the pool. Free breakfast was really nice if too much for me to eat. Really got a kick out of elevator voice having a southern account.

Great price, modern decorations. My wife loves hotels that have a tub so that makes it even better in her book.

Firstly, I'll sayhotels make me nervous. With a background in hospitality and a current career in vacation rentals, I know how hotels run. Girls are given 25 minutes (approximately) to complete a room and simply, things just aren't always clean. That said, I was impressed with Courtyard Marriott at Sandestin. The lobby was clean and well organized, the hallways were well lit and the room was great. It was just two of us ladies (had two queen beds) coming in for a conference and the Front Desk even asked if we knew how to get to the location the following day. This stay made me seriously consider becoming a Marriott Rewards cardholder. Next time, I'll snap a picture. Thank you!

Staff - was very helpful and polite. Off the back we were able to check in early free of charge & got a room upgrade free of charge.

Room- very clean. We had a minor clogging issue but maintenance fixed it right away . Quiet

Hotel on a hole was nice.

This is my first time ever writing a review, but i want to recognize the entire hotel staff here. Specifically, Rosalie's professionalism and energy made me feel welcome at the Courtyard Sandestin as soon as I walked in. It may sound corny, but everyone's energy and willingness to accommodate separates this hotel from any other hotel that I've visited and I average at least 15 hotels a month. Thanks again Rosalie and staff. You all are awesome 😁😁

Sometimes the staff can make a poor location better and a memorable experience. This place is the opposite. The location and facilities are nice, but the staff is terrible. On more than one occasion I've overheard the front desk talking down to customers, both over the phone and in person. I was absolutely shocked by some of the rudeness I overheard. I recommend staying at the courtyard West Destin not too far away. A much better experience.

After the way we were treated by Courtyard by Marriott Sandestin at Grand Boulevard last Friday evening, we will NEVER stay there again. We made a reservation at this property, 2 months in advance, and received a confirmation. On the very day we were to arrive, traveling with our two young grandchildren, we received a message telling us they had overbooked the hotel and they no longer had a room for us. I repeat - we had a confirmed reservation made 2 months in advance. Instead, they sent us to a room in a seedy hotel 10 miles away and told us it was an "upgrade." They basically just kicked us out, just like the airlines do when they oversell a flight. So before you decide to stay at this hotel, keep in mind that they will oversell it and may kick you out on the day of your reservation.
**UPDATE** I posted this same review on TripAdvisor and the General Manager posted a response which totally lied about what they did. This is a dishonest operation. SAD!

What a great place to stay. Quiet, clean, relaxing, and fun. Staff are amazing, front desk is eager to help. Southern hospitality at it's best. My family loved the pool with spa and baby pool. Would recommend.

I give 3 stars for location, cleanliness, and the pool. Cannot find anything else good to say. The elevators are extremely slow, noisy, and bumpy, the staff use the same 2 small elevators as the guests (in a quite large 5 story hotel). You cannot fit two luggage racks on one elevator. It took almost 20 minutes after I got to the bottom floor for my husband to finally get an empty elevator to take down.
We were guaranteed a refrigerator and a microwave, the hotel brought a small fridge to the room whose door wouldn't stay closed, but had only the lobby microwave. We were told they supplied breakfast, but they have a restaurant that sells breakfast, so no continental was supplied.
The room was the smallest two bed hotel room I've been in, the walls were so thin you could hear the neighbors conversations and the rain sounded like drums.

Situated right next to a major highway and easily accessible. A great place to stay at. Courteous staff at the reception and very clean rooms. There are plenty of places nearby for food be it breakfast, lunch or dinner. There is a bistro on the ground a floor that offers food and drinks.Theach is in close proximity.

By far the worst Marriott facility that we've stayed at. The only reason that it got 1 star is because of the location and everything in walking distance. They claim to NOT allow pets, but we saw 3 walking around in the building during our stay. We actually asked one owner if it was a therapy dog she quickly said "No, I just take him everywhere with me". The problem isn't the dog, we own dogs as well. I brought this to mgt attention mainly because he urinated in the back stairwell The young lady at the front desk gave me attitude when I brought this to her attention. Uncomfortable room set up. You can't see the tv from the head of the bed with the way that the furniture is set up. Very disappointing, considering we've stayed at Marriott properties across the country with work travel. Won't stay here again

My wife and I stayed at this hotel in April of 2017 for three nights. Located next to a golf course just off the main strip, this hotel is a very nice place to stay in Destin. The rooms are clean, comfortable, quiet, nicely furnished, and spacious. The beds are comfortable with great pillows. There is free WiFi and flat screen HDTV sets with plenty of channels. The building is new construction and very nicely decorated. The staff is friendly and courteous. Overall, this is a great place to stay and we can highly recommend it for everyone.

Stayed on the second floor and it was nice and quiet. The room was clean and laid out well. Bathroom was nice with plenty of hot water at different times of the day. There was plenty of stuff to do within walking distance. There is also a Publix within walking distance for any emergency needs.

Room was very clean and quiet. Staff at rge the hotel was very friendly. Ate breakfast at the hotel and everything tasted great. Staff in the restaurant was super friendly. Would stay here again .
