Very good breakfast and very friendly front desk staff. Rooms are typical Courtroom quality - well appointed, comfortable bed, well designed furniture, etc. The only negative is the hot water pressure has been inadequate on my last two visits. Each time a call to the desk got a very fast fix, but this should not happen repeatedly.

The hotel was located across the street from the local mall and within walking distance of many great restaurants and bars. It was also a short drive from many local historical attractions which the city has to offer. The hotel itself was very nice. The lobby area was clean and comfortable, there was a bistro that served as a breakfast/bar location depending on the time of day. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bed was much more comfortable than I've come to expect from hotels, and the other furniture was also comfortable. The view from our room was OK, but our friends had a corner room and their view was really nice. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful, providing local recommendations and directions as needed. The hotel also had an attached parking garage, which can be charged to your room at a discounted rate from prices posted.

This hotel was very nice, and the staff were all nice and helpful. The beds were very comfortable and the controls for heat were easy to use. The showers had good temperature control. The parking prices were reasonable as well. The mall across the street was amazing. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Very clean and quiet. Hotel lacks amenities however and is really not great for families. Would be great for business travel. Lack of real restaurant was it a bit disappointing. Online description also indicates pool which they do not have.

Limited food options...with no full service restaurant..only a little bistro cafe! Comfortable rooms and great downtown location! Friendly professional staff!

It is nice, relatively quiet for a downtown hotel and clean. There are plenty of things to do and places to eat nearby. Good location.

Very clean. Good sized rooms. Easy check in process. Really close to the convention center. Within walking distance of many good restaurants.

Had a nice stay here. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Centrally located to most other locations. Easy access from 95.

Just tried to make reservations at this hotel by calling the hotel directly. It was midnight and a man took my call. I had to spell my last name five times and he still couldn't spell it right. He kept getting confused and frustrated when I continually had to spell my name over and over (and the phone connection was fine) Eventually he hung up. I tried to call back several times but the phone just rang and rang....
I don't know if the owner of this hotel also owns the Courtyard in Lincoln, R.I. but if so, don't waste your time staying at either one. I stayed at the one in Lincoln last year and had to check out. The water was a rusty color. When I asked to change rooms, every room they put me in had the same issue--and not one person there seemed to care.
And the sad part is, when I wrote a review on my stay at the Courtyard in Lincoln, R.I., mentioning the rusty water--not one person ever got back to me or apologized online for this having happened---a sure sign the management/owners could care less about their clients.
    Stay away

I really enjoyed this hotel. It certainly is a fantastic spot to walk around and Providence. We were there for waterfire in literally had the best room. I could not have been happier. Some of the staff were friendly and some of them were full of attitude. I could easily ignore the bad since there was a lot to enjoy. The rooms were very clean and that's a very important thing.

Friendly staff, nice hotel in a great location. Room was modern and well kept, but our room was right next to elevator and was extremely loud. (Don't stay in X28 rooms on any floor)

The hotel was great. It's right in the center of the city and places you in walking distance of most tourist attractions. The rooms were very clean and the view of the state building from the room was amazing. I would recommend staying here if visiting providence.

The rooms are loud if facing the street. The room smelled like smoke event though it was non-smoking. The saving grace is the service. They were happy to switch rooms for me, and to answer my questions. The entire structure is old as each room is paired with a window unit. The ceiling showed water soaking through (I was on the top floor).

Good service and good quality accommodations from a Courtyard. Very reasonable rate for what you get, plus the location is within walking distance of everything downtown and the Brown campus. I'd definitely stay here again.
