Food was sub par and our door was broke. Water was out for several hours due to issues. Would not recommend to stay. Somewhere else I'm sure you'll get more for the money.

Very good experience. Room was clean and comfortable. For table. Staff was gracious and helpful. The breakfast buffet was outstanding!

Nice continental breakfast. Pool is right by the elevators which is weird. Don't think you are going to let your kids swim while you are in your room, strict. They don't even allow 1 adult to swim by themself.

Desk staff was very pleasant. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast area was well-maintained with hot and cold selections. Only issues: walls seem to be thin. Can hear muffled noise from adjacent rooms and hall. Slow drainage in shower (Rm 222). Overall good experience. I would stay here again.

Friendly staff. Nice breakfast buffet. Room was left open by the cleaning staff and was found open on Saturday when I returned after being gone all day., but nothing was missing from room.

Me and my boyfriend stayed at this hotel for a comfortable place to sleep after our first NFL game together. We were not even in the room for 5 minutes before the desk person came to our room inferring he smelled smoked and if so it needed to stop. We gladly let him into our room to see that nothing was being smoked in that room. He went on his way.
We had not even unpacked our bags before this occurred. Literally just got to the room and sat down.
Everything was fine from there, we went to the football game and did not get back to the hotel room until 1am, possibly later. We immediately went to sleep after a long exciting day.
We are now home and have checked to see that there is now a 250$ smoking fee taken from my boyfriend's card; leaving us in a bind because we have bills due. We tried to resolve the issue and speak to the General manager, who then sent us to another person. the same man that came into our room after not even being there for 5 minutes. He was rude and saying that there was a marijuana smell in our room. This is baffling. We've never had this issue before; staying in hotels is a part of my boyfriend's job, neither of us would disobey any hotel policys.
After explaining to this man that this is a mistake and there was no smoking, he then continued to say that EVEN IF WE JUST SMELLED LIKE IT he could charge him the fee. Apaulled by this, he asked to speak to the General manager in a firm manner because we just explained that he's the one that came to our room immediately upon arrival and he knew who we were and admitted he smelled nothing when coming to check our room.
This rude man hung up on us several times refusing to let us speak to the General manager or someone above her.
We now have to resort to a step further than we had wished.
So I would definitely not recommend this place unless you WANT to be charged a bogus 250$ smoking fee.
Most unprofessional desk attendant we've ever witnessed and we've stayed in many hotels.

Overall it's good. The location is nice but a little difficult to find at first. Room is clean. Enough plugs. Air conditioner doesn't have a temperature set, only a hot/cold dial. Only 3 pillows kinda sucks but they are good pillows. Breakfast is light but about what you would expect.

Pros: Rooms are large and adequately appointed. Beds are comfortable and ambience is quiet. Cons: Water pressure in shower was quite low. Safe in room was missing batteries and not working. Bathroom door was very squeaky.

The hotel is close to the beltway, but not the easiest hotel to get to. However, it's pretty secluded for the area with no road noise. Rooms were clean and the staff friendly. There was a single, used condom wrapper in the trash can upon arrival, but I'll chalk that up to a good time for someone, and I ain't mad. Indoor pool and fitness center is open till 12 if you care about your health. Breakfast was minimal and I opted for something outside the hotel. All in all I would stay again for the price.

We had stayed at this location a few years ago and the experience was excellent, unfortunately this time (May 2017) the quality has gone down quite a bit. The shower had no water pressure at all, the air conditioner smelled so bad when it was running that we had to turn it off and open the windows, the carpeting both in the room and throughout the hotel are filthy, the refrigerator did not work at all. On a positive side the staff are excellent and friendly. I feel bad giving a negative review because we had planned staying at this hotel on our next visit to the Matthews area in September. I think we will have to check out other hotels in the area, even if they are priced higher it will be worth the extra expense to have a clean room and a shower that works.

Well, we stayed there on may 7, 2017 we got a suite the room was decent. We have been going there for about 2 yrs now if not longer. And today Todd the manager was very rude, and very aggressive told my boyfriend he would punch him in the face.. and then told us we had to leave we while we was swimming, and that is when he said he would punch my boyfriend in the face if we didn't leave, we spent more then 2,000 dollars there in the last 2 yrs if not more Love the place not the management "He threating to call the police, tried to talk to him calmly but he then threated to hit him again" . He also said we was no longer aloud on the property. I could not even go back to check my room to see if we had got everything out or not, he told us to get off his property, very unpleasant..

We recently stayed here this past weekend.
The problems include :
Stopped up toilet upon arrival, took maintence forever to get to it.
The people above us were loud
The fridge doesn't work (I have a toddler and two half gallons of milk went bad)
The keys constantly stop working.
The water pressure in the showers won't even rinse here.
I would recommend third floor if you stay here, so you can get rest. Or better yet a different hotel.

Pretty good experience. Very spacious rooms. The staff that I interacted with were all friendly, that includes reception desk, breakfast staff, and housekeeping. The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and temperature adjustment was just fine.
Fitness center is a bit small but very adequate with a weight center, treadmill, and eliptical. Did not get to use it as I forgot swimming trunks, but the pool area looked very nice.
The location is actually pretty good considering its off of a busy main road, if you pay attention to GPS or can read a map there is back road access to get around the traffic. You will have to fight traffic a but during rush hour to find food nearby, unless you like strippers and hot dogs located conveniently across the street (but that's not my thing).
Only negative thing I could say is maintenance was pressure washing during my checkout and there wasn't really any warning of that (i.e. no sign posted and no warning from the front desk staff). If someone not as young and spry as myself were leaving the building while that was going on it could have been a safety issue.
