Location, location, location. Easy walk to downtown shops. Continental breakfast could use some improvement. Rooms clean with coffee maker, cable TV, etc. normal stuff. Enjoy staying here every year.

The place was very clean and nice. All the basic stuff you expect at the any hotel. The hotel is very close to downtown. We only stayed one night for the mackinaw bridge fall run. The only issue I had about the place was the bed, very stiff and uncomfortable. Was not able to get a good night sleep. We had 2 queen beds and both were the same. That is the only issue I had the entire time.

Clean, cute room. Friendly staff. Great location if you want to be close to shopping. Not a great location if you want a water/bridge view. Bed was hard, but not awful. Free breakfast was simple, but everything was fresh and well stocked. Overall, excellent value for the money.

We were pleasantly surprised. You never can really tell what you're going to get when booking a not-big-chain hotel solely off pictures from a website.
We had a corner room which was very large. It was clean and well stocked with towels and soaps. The room also had a small refrigerator and coffee maker.
The grounds were clean and well lit. The indoor pool and hot tub were clean with plenty of towels.
The complimentary breakfast was basic but they kept everything stocked and warm.
On the strip with all the shops and within walking distance of sheplars' ferry.response / report this review -

Check in was quick. Staff was polite and got us the keys to our room in under a minute. The location could not be any better. We walked everywhere in Mackinaw with absolute ease. You're on the main street with all of the stores and the crossings are a 2 minute walk away. The waterfront is a 5 minute walk. The rooms are what you'd expect out of a hotel and came at a great price. The room was clean and you couldn't hear anyone in the other rooms. I would highly recommend staying here if you're visiting Mackinaw City.

Excellent rooms very clean and tidy in Mackinaw city Downton you can walk to the ferry in addition to walking to any of the downtown restaurants

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. We really like it here. It is right in town so its nice to be able to walk to all the shops and even down to the park. The room was clean and didn't have that odd 'motel smell'. The one negative we found was that the beds are
