I attended a professional conference at this hotel. The space was large, clean, and attractive. A buffet was catered for breakfast and lunch, which we're all delicious and provided many options. Ample parking was available for all attendees. The staff was very helpful however, due to construction, very few hotel rooms were available.
Melissa Reince the 3rd shift employee is very polite. She went above and beyond her job description to please our hotel needs.
We asked for a few things a couple different times and not once did she get upset. Always smiling which made us know that we picked the right place to stay. Keep up the great work Melissa on 3rd Shift.
YOU'RE OUTSTANDING!!
"Executive Suite" room was horrible, run down and outdated by about 25 years. Stains on furniture, mold in shower, bathroom ugly, dark, and vanity wood is basically in decay. Should have been renovated decades ago. Restaurant was same story, booth seats falling apart, decor from a different era. Water park was nice but couldn't carry the day. The hotel really should be closed and should not be taking guests in for overnight stays until the room renovations are complete. Will probably be very nice in several months assuming they get it renovated top to bottom. Stay away for now if you are looking for comfortable amenities and a clean room experience.
Got one of the Exclusive rooms, there was construction on the same floor at the time. They didn't work at night or early in the morning 😁. Our room had one or two barley noticeable small blue stains on the carpet, we think from a slushie. Room service (fee of ÷ .07) from Wildflower, it was very tasty. Same with breakfast. I would have rated five stars if when the pool closes the arcade is open. That was saddening.
Had a great time at The Country Springs water park yesterday for my son's birthday party!
The pool, the lazy river, the slides, hot tub, and splash pad were awesome! Everyone enjoyed it! The pizza was delicious! The cake was decorated perfectly! The staff were very helpful! The kids loved the game room also! Save that for last! Thank you!
The rooms at the hotel are not anything special, but they are good enough and all you need. Waterpark is a good time for the kids. Not much for adults to do other than lazy river
We took my three kids under 6 to swim for a day. It was nice. Lots of activities for their ages and lifegaurds were attentive. It was loud, but as expected and chlorine was definitely in the air. I was dissatisfied by their lack of food allergy friendly options on the menu.. we did bring our own food and had to eat in the upper lobby on the floor, bc we were not allowed to being our food in. My children are dairy and gluten free and though i do not expect others to cater to them, it would have been nice to allow us to eat inside at the tables and not on the floor.
I was there for a wedding but did not stay overnight. I did however see two different rooms while there. The suites are very nice and spacious. The standard room with two queens was also of adequate size but obviously different amenities. The wedding was at an outside pavilion, the are was nice and accommodates a medium-sized wedding with space to spare. The reception areas were nice as well, although the area we were in had multiple weddings in one area, seperated by a tiny 6 foot long wall.
Attended a wedding here this past weekend. The wedding reception itself was great, very friendly and speedy staff. However, we saw a guy MOPPING up someones vomit on the carpet on our way back to our roomI just figure with such a large hotel, that charges a lot per room per night, that maybe a spot cleaner would be a good investment for sanitation purposes? And one of our beds had either ketchup or blood ( I hope ketchup, but probably not) on the fleece blanket under the comforter, we called the front desk and it was changed right away, but still. Why was it there to begin with unless the bedding was not changed?
Hidden gem! Good rates, military friendly, and a very nice water park for all ages. Food was pretty good and fair priced. They gave a few coupons at check in for food and drinks. The staff was very polite as well. Great job!
I attended a wedding here. There is a great outdoor gazebo area where the ceremony was held. The setting was great. For the reception there was a dedicated building that had everything needed (bar, bathrooms, catering kitchen, dinning area). It was a great experience to attend a weeding and reception as a guest.
Requested adjoining room when we booked and didn't get it. Called to see if we could be put right next to the other room for our family, and they said no. Our room was filthy! Yuck!! I am refusing to go barefoot in this room. I had to brush crumbs off of both beds. The only saving grace was Liz at the front desk who was amazing!!! This place is becoming very run-down. I will decide to travel farther for a water park next time we need a quick vacation.
I'll lead off by saying that the staff was friendly and courteous, though a good staff can only go so far. Completely dated rooms and amenities, not anywhere near worth the price. I'd say this hotel is about the quality of an $80/night motel. It was probably nice in the late 90's. To any frequent travelers that are accustomed to the quality of Hilton, Marriott, Starwood, or Hyatt (or any of their subsidiary brands) move along. Sleep in your car potentially.
I was here for a one day training session. My interaction with the hotel staff was limited, however, the staff seemed friendly and were eager to help. The facilities were clean and tidy. The banquet room was comfortable. We were offered a complimentary breakfast including: coffee that was hot and actually good; fruit that was fresh - melons, pineapple, grapes; bagels with cream cheese packets on the side; orange juice. The spread was really the highlight. At lunch the ceaser chicken salad was unimpressive and not to my taste. I didn't finish. The French onion soup was very good. Most everyone else seemed to finish there meals - burgers/sandwiches appeared to be enjoyed. They have an outstanding Christmas lights display in the winter that my family and I have gone to for years. Very worth checking out. Great for every age.
Went to the water park for a couple hours. Lifeguards are very courteous and attentive. Equipment is old, but fun. Plenty of places to lounge. Food for sale, mostly junk food. Large arcade. Would go again. Great place for toddlers, just stay vigilant.
