Great customer service! Checked in very late, the lady let us use a roll away bed! Awesome, updated rooms! Great place.

Very comfortable stay. Very cozy rooms. Friendly staff. And I saw a fire spinner on a Sunday night during the summer on their Beach. It was amazing

Rooms are nothing special but still nice, staff is friendly and helpful. Wish the pool could stay open longer but hard to control rowdy guests 24/7 I guess. Come here every year and they welcome us. No complaints.

This resort was priced just right. There are so many amenities! A small kitchen in our room, out door grill, two pools one indoor and one outdoor, a splash pad, a small arcade room, a sandy beach, lake front property, canoes, row boats, a small dock, tons of beach games, and an out door fire pit!!!! It was so quiet here. We definitely will be going back.

Had a nice relaxing weekend in the jacuuzi suite. Used the pool, hot tub and sauna Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Good solid well maintained place to stay during the winter or summer. Close to alot of restaurants and things to do.

I’ve been staying at Sunset Bay Resort since I was around seven years old. Even now at 23 I love coming here and staying. It brings back so many lovely memories! Wish to stay in the summer but they always are booked up, but I’m always good with a stay in the spring or fall! I love the pool, even the outdoor, and the scenery is so nice! The lake is my favorite, I wonder if kids still get up early to find colorful seashells at the shore like I use to! The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean and very nice. I love staying in the jacuzzi suite! Would always recommend to friends or family to stay here!

Such a nice little place to get away to! My wife, kids, and I decided to meet my parents up there for a little getaway this weekenf. We were really surprised by how nice it was. There was a fun little pool inside that had a little kid slide and one that was bigger, kayaks and rowboats, and it wasn't far from the strip. The staff was very nice and the beds Oh my god, the beds. They were medium soft mattresses! I had the best sleep I've had in almost 2 years in that bed. We are totally coming back next fall.

I went to Sunset Bay Resorts for my honeymoon. Loved it so much we ended up extending our trip one more night and switched rooms. I can honestly say I loved the room facing the beach more than our original room with the jacuzzi. Still, no regrets because we had a fantastic time.
I would definitely recommend Sunset for couples It's a good place to stay, quiet, away from the busy strip yet still only 2 to 3 minutes from everything. They have a great beach as well as an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool has a small slide.
If you go on the right nights, they have a large fire pit and a campfire singer.
The staff was amazing, accommodating and very helpful. I'm going back for my anniversary for sure.response / report this review -

This is a good place to stay. It's quiet, being off the busy strip yet still only 2 to 3 minutes from Noahs Ark and Olympus. It's got a great beach as well as an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool has a small slide.
If you go on the right nights, they have a large fire pit and a campfire singer.
I would recommend this over any of the motels along the strip.response / report this review -

I would highly recommend a stay here. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, friendly staff in a relaxing family atmosphere. The location is convenient to anything you may want to do in the Dells, without the high price and noise of the huge resorts. It's right on the lake, nice indoor and outdoor pool, sandy beach, volleyball court and many picnic tables and grills to enjoy some time with family and friends. Couldn't ask for a better place to get away for a few days. We'll definitely be back.

Our family had a great time and I'd like to come back. NO issues with our big dog, plenty of areas to walk him with bags provided, and the dog treats at check-in were a nice surprise. The indoor pool is simple with just two slides, but our 5 and 7 yo were happy. The beach, kayaks, and fire pit really added to our stay - the sheltered cove and calm water were perfect for the kids to work on their paddling skills. (I also enjoyed my afternoon of watching the kids play in the sand from the comfort of a kayak seat, paddling in and out of the cove when I liked.)
So here's the deal - this is NOT the most ultra super modern fancy schmancy place you'll find. And there will probably be plenty of young (and not so young) people trekking in and out on various adventures. And there will occasionally be dogs barking. And the lake won't look like a swimming pool. But everything I saw was clean and well-cared-for (with the excusable exception of the life jackets which are at the mercy of the elements and other guests and which were fully safe and functioning.) The staff was nothing but helpful and friendly, we were granted late check-out on request, our room was comfortable, we liked having a balcony for drying suits and for dog relaxation, I was satisfied with the discount on water park admission (Kalahari) and if we go again I'll want us to leave more free time for just relaxing and enjoying the motel. Nice variety of pools and not overly crowded. Nice lake view and quiet. Had unique fire show on beach entertaining on Monday. Liked the wade pool and that all were heated! Great location. Probably good for dells. King studio is a little small with 2 adults and toddler. Wish had more room. Would recommend better door locks as chain or upper lock on interior for security and keep kid opening door since no deadbolt. Bed was average. Kitchenette was dated and small. Simple ungrades like paper towel holder or shelves above sink would provided better working area. Room smelled strange and furnishing average. Floors creak glad was on top floor.

The rooms at Baker's are some remodeled and some not. The facilities are average but are reasonably priced for the Dells, and the beach and view of the lake are very nice. We stayed in a 1 bedroom suite with a kitchenette, which allowed us to save on meals. The hotel provides wood for nightly bonfires on a nice patio on the beach, there is a sand volleyball court, an outdoor pool, outdoor kiddie splash pad, and indoor pool, as well as free kayaks and life jackets for use while there. The staff is very friendly and the facilities are clean. They also allowed us to checkout late at 11am. The beds could stand to be more comfortable but are acceptable. The resort is close enough to everything, but it is nice to not be on the main drag, and to be more secluded. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and would stay again (this was actually our 2nd time there - the first time was about 5 years ago).
