This place is a joke. We arrived around 10 PM to check in for a reservation I had made well in advance. When we got to our room it was filthy, trash everywhere, bed slept in, it had never been cleaned from the last guest who stayed in it. We went back to the front desk and told them it was dirty and they said we were out of luck because they had a full house. Then they asked "how dirty is it?" Like if it was only a LITTLE bit slept in and trashed we would be okay to just deal with it..? Seriously? So then they basically sent us out to find another hotel at 11 PM with not so much as an apology. When I tried to call the next day to speak with a manager I was offered a 5 dollar discount if I wanted to come back and stay for one night. 5 dollars and still no apology. Absolutely ridiculous. Long story short, don't waste your time or money here because from housekeeping to management, no one here knows how to do their job correctly.

The front desk person that was on duty was named Laura and she was the sweetest, best dressed, woman I have ever met. And her nails were gorgeous. She was very helpful and explained the details for breakfast and the wifi. She is definitely the face that should great everyone due to she was friendly and made me fell welcome

Let me preface this by saying I travelled nearly 200,000 miles this year and stayed in MANY hotels. I read the crappy reviews and thought that it can’t be that bad, well ladies and gentlemen, it is that bad!!! You should immediately stop reading my review and start thinking of another place to stay. But if you decide that you must keep reading then I’ll give you the good news and the bad news. The good news: I’m still alive. The bad news: just barely! This is the noisiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in! I’m actually writing this while sitting in this crappy roach room and listening to the guy next door yelling at his family. It’s true, ppl have written reviews about how paper thin the walls are, I’m sandwiched with a lack of privacy - yelling, stomping, laughing, the TV next doorit’s loud, it sucks. But wait, there’s moreroach motel, did I say roach motel?.why yes I did! I won’t even explain it, I’ll just upload the photos I took of them. Seriously, don’t stay here, let me be the only one that takes one for the teamyou don’t have to do it, spare yourself, your family. You will do yourself the biggest favor you can possibly do for yourself! Google will hate you, you will hate you, if you read this review and think, “I’ll give it a shot, it can’t be that bad.” The only time you want to stay here is if you are doing a 24-48hr No Sleep Challenge, you will be guaranteed to not get any!

Front desk, Gloria, was very friendly and inviting. The room was clean but walls are paper thin and other guests don't seem to respect late night/early morning sleep. This shouldn't reflect on the ratings, but the quality of this place isn't high. Decent price for not having reservations though.

I didn't stay here long. Checked in late and left early but my check in experience was great and the rooms were much nicer than I expected. Nice big room with a mini fridge, had a indoor pool and a free breakfast. I would stay here again if I was in the area

Had no problem with the front desk while making payment for my room. Friendly staff. Very smooth transaction. Centrally located in Sumter. Located right behind Ihop so I could easily walk and get a meal at anytime day or night.

When I checked into my room I was put into a different one than I was supposed to be. Since the room was booked by a travel site, they had to be contacted about the issue. The hotel couldn't move me. The travel site contacted the hotel and the lady at the desk was able to move me. She was absolutely wonderful about the whole situation. The hotel itself is nice and clean. They were doing some remodeling so it was a little noisy during the day but not too bad. The breakfast was delicious. It's back from the road so there's no road noise. Nights are quiet.

The pillows were smaller than what's on my couch (9"x9") and super firm, which made sleeping extremely difficult. The bright parking lot light right outside the rooms made it seem like it was still day time at 2am, even with curtains clothes. People were running about upstairs past midnight and the TV channels are a little confusing and poor quality. The room was through one weird door that was not labeled, and the room number was nowhere near that door. Need to upgrade toilets and shower heads. Staff was super nice and clearly there's been an attempt at a face lift for the aesthetics. Went there for a good night's sleep and definitely did not get it.

Loudest hotel I have ever stayed in and I travel often. I told the font desk and they said they were going to say something the all the people in the hallway (30 minutes yelling and laughing at 10:30 pm) and the rooms all around me. Nothing happened. Rooms are good, beds comfortable. Show curtain holder was falling apart. Will not stay in this location again

The room and facilities are clean. The staff were helpful and friendly from start to finish. The location of the hotel is not far from the main road, but far enough that you don't hear the vehicles going by.

After our 8 hour drive from Washington, DC, we checked into a room that had visible dirt all over the floor, I could literally move the dirt around the carpet with my shoe. There was also hair in the bed. We called the front desk, and the young lady said that she has received multiple complaints about the cleaning. We were moved to another room and the front desk person escorted us to make sure everything was ok. I informed her that 2 light bulbs were missing and one was blown out, so I really couldn't see how clean it was. She just said, ok. Looking further the ottoman was badly stained and there was hair on the toilet and on the bathroom floor. Looks like the hair was just mopped around in circles. Update: I'm removing 1 star, I wish I could give no stars. The desk manager, Jada , said she was going to refund our money especially since out shower was not working at all, not 1 drop of water. A week later we get a call informing us that we will not be refunded for our miserable stay. I'm ticked off.

Don't waste your time or $$ Rooms are definitely not cleaned properly. And have been neglected for quite some time. Parking is limited and upon arrival after checking in and getting items out my car. I witnessed a group of guest out in the parking lot smoking weed.Not to mention entering in room and them having deeply soiled carpets and curtains all throughout the room.There was Dust caked up on nightstands,dressers, in closet.Not to mention the whole family of Roaches were crawling in bathroom and all around hotel room. I was very disappointed in this hotel and the Country Inn Suites. Contacted front desk to request to be moved. Just to find out all rooms were sold out and I couldn't be moved. And was told to speak with manager in A.M.which never happened.

I don't know where to begin about this place. That one star is a stretch!
My bathroom was disgusting. My toilet was disgusting, my shower had red spots, mold, and mildew. I requested another room and heard nothing from management. So I BOUGHT CLEANING SUPPLIES TO CLEAN MY OWN DAMN ROOM BECAUSE APPARENTLY ITS TOO MUCH TO ASK FOR A CLEAN ROOM!
It gets worse though
So the next day after my OCD nightmare I requested towels, hand towels, and rags since the maids took ALL of the towels but opted not to replace them. I was going to let it slide till the awful woman at the front desk cut me off as if she knew what I was requesting THEN BROUGHT UP 3 HAND TOWELS3.
