Great place to take kids to learn to ride. Price is a little high in my opinion, but they do keep the trail well maintained.

Fun place. Trails are well maintained and staff was very friendly. Not super challenging or technical, but plenty to keep you entertained for a day.

We having been coming here for over 8 years. The cost of this place has gotten out of control.We booked a cabin for 4 nights (recently - like this month) and it cost $189 per night the total was $824. Then we get here and they charge a riding fee on top of that. 2 Adults and 1 youth was another $200 to ride for 4 days. OVER $1000 FOR 4 DAYS. IF IM PAYING TO RENT A CABIN THERE SHOULD NOT BE A RIDING CHARGE. And for the nightly cabin fee there should be a comfortable bed instead of the concrete slab to sleep on and a stove to cook food in the kitchen. A good hotel is typically around $130 a night - and you get free breakfast and more. I get we are here to ride but for the money spent its not worth it. This will be our last trip here!!!

If you ride anywhere near NC, you already know this place. Family friendly. Camping and cabins to rent. My family have ridden and camped there a ton and recommend this place 10 times over! Riding is trails and dirt roads. Crazy fun.

went to visit on 11/10/17-11/12/17. Was very disorganized, Called ahead to find the best way to get there whoever answered the phone was very snobby. Then once we did get there the staff wasn't able to locate the key to the cabin. We left too early on Sunday and should've received a refund and instead was denied because the check in staff didn't provide a receipt. They should have a log of who all came in and left. Spent way too much money on not a good experience. The trails were nice, clean and marked very well, but the staff and organization horrible.

We visited CAW for the first time this past weekend (Oct. 21 & 22, 2017). What an amazing place! Me, my husband and our children had the best family weekend there. My son said it was better than going to Disney. We will be back to ride and make more memories. We told our friends in Florida about CAW, and they are coming up in January to ride and celebrate some birthdays. Now that we have found CAW, we have found a place to ride, have fun and make wonder family memories together. We spoke with several of the staff there this past weekend and everyone was so nice and friendly. We ate at the kitchen and the pizza was delicious. We also purchased 3 sets of goggles for the night ride. The ladies room was clean and well maintained and we appreciated the A/C during the day and the heat that evening. The trails are marked and very easy to find your way. My daughter and I rode the green trails and had NO issues finding our way around and NO issues getting back to the parking lot to meet up with my husband and son. My husband and son were on the blue trails and had no problems finding their way around. We also did a night ride on that Saturday night and had NO issues finding our way around. The night rides are fun. We gave CAW 5 stars because you guys deserve it. See you soon.

Was 5 star now 3 star:/

They are targeting more dirt bikes and racing four wheelers these days. Every thing has been filled in and not much to play with these days.

Night rides are weak these days and not much goes on.

Trail #4 has more” no trespassing” signs on the right hand side these days like CAW is having issues with surrrounding land owners:/

Trails are filled with river rock instead of dirt and you can really tell how ruff it is :/

Checked CAW out for the first time labor day weekend. My family and I had a blast. Staff is very kind. Ken the manager greeted me in my family in the parking lot. He went out of his way to assist everyone around him. I was skeptical of overcrowding but it wasnt bad at all. I did read poor reviews about high prices but I cant complain considering they are doing a lot of work on maintaining the trails and facilities. I do wish they would monitor the night campgrounds a little better. There was a very rowdy group near us that partied all night and were running their vehicles well past midnight. The bathhouses are really disgusting but so are the people that make em' that way. If people should show a little more respect they may eventually drop the cost. Until then I would keep them or raise them to keep the riff raff out.

We had the most amazing time at Carolina Adventure World this weekend. This was our second trip down and we couldn't be more impressed with the staff and the trails. We rented a cabin (Shady Rest) on Sunday evening. It was in perfect condition - super clean and perfect for the three of us (my wife and our 8 year old daughter). Our 4-wheelers were on the back of a very high F550 and Heath H. (a staff member) went out of his way to help us unload them from the truck that evening. He also helped us load them back up the following day. He was AMAZING. The other staff was incredible and very attentive. MaKayla and the other girls in the Welcome Center were awesome. I couldn't say enough great things about Carolina Adventure World and we look forward to many more trips to come!

DO NOT COME TO THIS PLACE!!!!!! The power on the camp ground was out for almost 2 days also happened the last time we came. We also had to run our generator when we paid to have the camp ground hook up.when we came in one of the workers were yelling at us to move our already parked and level camper for someone that did not know how to park.

Best time I've had in a long time, my wife and I took my sons who are 22 and 16. We just had a blast for 3 days. There is nothing even close within 600 miles of where we live. Staff is awesome, trails are incredible, so laid back and beautiful, I hope to go back many more times. It was well worth the 9 and half hour drive to have the experience with my family

Great place to ride. Trials are wide enough where you are not scratching up your side by side. Lots of areas to ride. No problems with carrying beer on the trails. Cabins were great! Good experience and a fun time for all ages.

NOTE: This review is geared to motorcycle riders.

With the rising popularity of side-by-sides, I am glad that a place like this exists. They need places to go too. But, if you ride on 2 wheels, only go if you are desperate to ride and have no other options. This place is highly geared to people on 4 wheels. It is probably just a matter of time before they allow Jeeps and such. The trails are wide enough for them.

Oh, and there is definitely a major accident and lawsuit pretty much pending as they have a TON of two way trails now. Two way trails?? The trails are super wide and easy, so motorcycle riders can fly. It is just a matter of time before one ends up as a hood ornament on a massive side-by-side.
