Overall not a bad hotel. I would have liked to have given it 4 stars as the staff was very nice and friendly and the rooms were large and comfortable. However, there was mold growing along the top of the shower. Not a small amount where you can assume they just missed it either. Maybe the cleaning staff was too short to reach but I cleaned some off with minimal effort. Clean that up and it is a fine hotel overall.

Bed was comfy and room is clean. No complaints. Staff was also friendly. We were there on a Friday night, so the free breakfast that didn't happen until 7 a.m. The breakfast was decent I just wish it was earlier.

Lobby was nice and breakfast was decent. Indoor pool was cold even though it was warm outside. Carpet in room needs to be redone. Will chose another hotel next time

My daughter and I stayed at the Country Inn by Carlson again for the second time and loved it. The room was very nice and clean and very spacious for our 4 day/3 night stay. Breakfast each morning was delicious. The staff from the front desk to the kitchen to house keeping was extremely nice and friendly. The spa tub and indoor swimming pool were the icing on the cake. We will be back again very soon.

Upon arrival we where greeted by very pleasant front desk attendant. He was very efficient and quickly got us to our rooms. The lobby was clean and had fresh coffe brewing for us and cookies for the kids the rooms where very clean and this helped us get a much needed sleep. Will definitely visit again if given the chance.

I found this hotel you be very clean and comfortable. The staff was exceptionally polite and helpful. My wife and I read several reviews for several hotels and couldn't believe some of the negative comments some people had to say. My god people, you're not staying at the Ritz Carlton. If you want the Ritz, then stay at the Ritz. If you look hard and long enough you're probably going to find something you don't like about any place you stay. With that being said, this hotel was very nice and I would stay here again. The only negative I would have would be the continental breakfast. But, I've never been a fan of the continental breakfast. I've always found them to be sparse and not very appetizing. There are many other options for breakfast close by.

It was actually pretty decent. We only stayed from about 1am til 10 am. Breakfast was included-waffles, eggs n sausage, cereal, muffins, fruit staff was very nice. Pool and hot tub looked nice. Has a gym too. Would stay there again.

Rooms are kept very clean. Carpets a little dated but clean. The bathroom was nice. And the beds are comfy. The pool and hot tub are indoors so its very nice all yr round. The breakfast is good. Better than most places with the little extra thibgs they have. And there is always cookies at reception even at 12:30am. The business center was super helpful and easy to use.

Ive stayed here several times. I like it because it is close to reaturants and very walkable even if it doesn't have sidewalks. Breakfast is always good. And very clean.

How this place has a 3.9 I will never guess. I wish they allowed negatives. You'll want to read this whole thing before staying there or if you have. We walked in and everything was fine at first glance. We get to our floor and the smell is undeniably bad. Check the other floors and they're all varying degrees of funny smelling. The room itself smells musty. That's when you notice the floors. They're ridiculously stained up. Then you notice the chairs in the lobby are stained right by the headrests. There are even stains on the outlet where clearly something blew there and no one wiped the smudge. I can't imagine myself sleeping or showering here. Especially not for $150 a night. We decide to leave. They gladly refund our money. Now we're on vacation so having to wait for the $350 to be available on my card again is something that we felt was worth it, better than bringing home crabs or bed bugs. Then 2 hours later there's another charge on my card for $173.37 that's an exact figure. I call back to ask what that charge was about. I get put on hold. I'm on hold for 20+ minutes. During that time my husband calls choice hotels whose only suggestion is maybe that amount was the hold hotels sometimes put on your account for incidentals. I repeat the amount was $173.37. Does that make sense? So now we've bought a new room at a different hotel $344 is held from me and no one is answering me about my $173 dollars. We're on vacation I can't use almost $600 and no one has picked up at the hotel..anyway the Choice Hotels lady suggests I call my bank to have the charges removed since we didn't stay in that NASTY hotel and no one can find the $173 that was charged to me from the hotel. Except of course my bank guy, who removed the charges and let me know to keep checking my account and to get back with their fraud department if they try to put it back through. Never again!!! I have screenshots, receipts, and reference numbers just in case.

Everything was pretty standard, as expected. The room was clean, it was clear where things were, and in general, everything was alright. The hotel is in the middle of a small hotel hub, which also means there was easy access to food! Definitely a plus. The only issue we came across was that our bathroom door didn't want to stay closed, even after locking.

The hotel is fairly well kept and the rooms are clean. Our beds were not so comfortable. They do serve breakfast from 7 to 10. The location is great for visiting Savannah, as it's just a short drive up 95. Overall this was a good deal for the price.

Love this hotel! For the price it's incredible! Especially if you want to compare it to the MOTEL across the street (best western) who's rate is basically the same. The rooms are very nice, as are the bathrooms. Very happy with my stay. Only downfall was the TV package didn't have ESPN to watch my games (but that's if I'm nitpicking to find something wrong here)
