Pretty disappointed in the facility for the price. I guess December anywhere near Frankenmuth means you can charge a premium price for a substandard facility. Bathroom is small and in bad need of updating. Tub has a permanent layer of stain in the bottom. TV is really small and beds aren’t really comfortable. While checking in the desk person seemed to be extremely frazzled and annoyed to be doing her job. Not a very good experience, I won’t be using this location ever again. Here’s a picture of just some of the dirt behind the door in our room. I guess they’ve made it so the pictures of the filth can’t be seen. I’ll just describe it, it was some sort of food that was covered in hair in the corner behind the door. The whole room was dirty and didn’t look to have been vacuumed in a while.

They were very friendly and helpful. The pool and whirlpool was nice and clean. If you got there at the right time it wasn't to packed. The rooms were clean and nice sized. It was a little bit more expensive then I usually do but it was worth it😊

Country Inn and Suites was a pleasant stay. It wasn't very busy, so was quiet. Breakfast was provided, they had available hot and cold fare, typical for a moderately priced hotel. There was a pool, we didn't use it. The rooms were clean. Service was good. Coffee is terrible. Being so close to the mall was very nice.

This is not the first time I've stayed at the Country Inn & Suites. I keep coming back because the staff are friendly, the rooms are cozy and well-kept, and the location is close to the Prime Outlets. I love swimming when I'm on vacation, so the extended pool hours (until midnight) are very convenient. My only complaint would be the temperature of the hot tub. I couldn't tell the difference between the pool temperature and the hot tub. I think they had someone in fixing it, so I'm not going to mark that against them. I highly recommend the Country Inn & Suites for your next stay in Birch Run!

Love the added touch of cookies at the front desk. The hotel is always clean and the pool is open late. The place is small but cozy like a country cottage.

This Country Inn and Suites is sadly in need of updating. Most walls and doors are grimy and scuffed,. Our bathroom was only spot cleanedthe makeup that someone before us had spilled on the outside of the tub is still there and what looks like a toothpick is still under the vanity on the second day of our stay. The floor looks filthy because of the dirty grout. When we arrived, the person on the desk was very rude when asked if there was any milk for our two very young grandchildren. My son was told there was no milk on the premises. Even after he asked if there would be milk for cereal the next morning, he was told NO! When we went for breakfast what is the first thing we see?..a permanent milk machine! All she had to do was go into the breakfast room and fill two glasses! Definitely not the type of service that you would expect when traveling with children. This hotel does not live up to other Country Inns!

Big Disappointment
It's unusual to find a "chain" hotel this bad. The whole place looks old, tired and unclean. Staff was very unfriendly and uncaring. We stopped there on a bus tour to Mackinac Island so, obviously, we had no choice of hotels. One of our friends traveling with us had a broken arm in a sling and was treated unkindly. Upon coming back from dinner, she found her room had not been cleaned. She went to the front desk and the "manager" on duty said housekeeping went home and couldn't do anything about it. Not even an apology. Had to beg her to get clean towels. Not her job and not her problem.
This whole hotel needs updating (including the staff).

This place really needs to makeover. I assume that's it's surviving because it right across from the Birch Run Outlet. Bring your own Pillow and if you have it mattress topper because you'll need it. Suites have microwave and mini fridge. The air is in the bedroom so if someone is in the living room they will be hot/cold unless you blast the unit😑. Also about a week after checking out the hotel still had a hold on our card for about $200 that we didn't know that they were holding. There are free cookies in the lobby and free breakfast in the morning which is pretty good. 1 ⭐️ for proximity to outlet and another ⭐️ for breakfast 🍳 and 🍪.

Nice place, clean rooms, hot breakfast, and a hot tub to relax in after a long day working. Breakfast was good too. I inmediately wanted to stay another night.

My 20 person Science Olympiad team has had great experiences with this hotel for the past few years. As we come from a few hours drive away to compete on a Saturday, we really appreciate the affordable rooms and accommodations (such as an earlier breakfast) that this Country Inn & Suites provides. Most of our student enjoy taking a dip in the pool to de-stress, although it is not suitable for lap swimming. Bathrooms are well lit, and the heating and cooling system does a fair job of maintaining whatever temperature you set for your room. Lastly, Birth Run outlet mall is right accross the street!!! You can shop till' you drop and relax your sore feet in the hot tub before taking a shower and going to bed.

Friendly staff, decent complimentary breakfast. Small pool, but is was good enough for the kids. The rooms were clean however the walls are very thin. We could hear everything above us. Our top neighbors were up late into the night walking back and forth the whole time.
