Must i say a word? This place is the most disgusting place ive literally have ever been you couldnt pay me to stay an hour in this room. The most rancid horrific aspect of this room is one that can not be captured on film, the smell was enough to bring you to your knees!!!! Body odor after a momth of not showering , rotten female parts, the worst case of athletes foot nothing comes close to the toxic rancid fumes that this place was letting out! NOTHING! there is no way if inspected tomorrow this place wpuld be shut down its disgusting and the guy and his wife behind the desk tried to say it is just the color of the grout! But i showed him the white walls pics with clearly several layers of dirt and he didnt want to hear it and just gave us our $50 backnn kept saying ok ok ok ok bye.. worst customer service ive ever received after being subjected to the smell of that room just made me angry. Im literally sitting here with my stomach still turning almost 30 minutes after leaving there n im never one to be critical this is my first review ever but i felt compelled to share my horrifying experience of this place because something needs to be done about this its not ecen close to being up to code!

where do I start?
No WiFi.
the heater in my room didn't work. they brought in a portable heater for me to use IN DECEMBER!
the mattress sagged in the middle.
Flea bag is a good description
managers foreign. had to ask three times before I got an extra blanket. the cover was a thin sheet and thin bedspread.
no refrigerator
no way to cook anything.
pushed stopper in vanity down to wash my hands and face and couldn't get it to open again to let the water drain
the room has 1 chair. 1 bed, two tiny end tables, commode, shower stall, and small closet
a Motel 6 or Super 8 would be a BIG improvement

DO NOT DO BUSINESS HERE!! EVER!! My daughter and boyfriend wanted to get away from our small town so decided to go to Tucson to do some shopping, have a nice dinner and instead of driving back home, decided to stay here. They woke to my car having been vandalized. When they went to the management to see if there were any witnesses to this crime, the owners were not only UNCONCERNED with the fact that my car was badly damaged while at their motel, they DID NOT CARE to lift a finger, to help in any way. All of us spent approx 4 1/2 hours on our phones trying to get my car repaired enough so that it could be driven. If this wasn't stressful enough, while waiting on calls from repair shops, insurance, etc.. Owners DID however, INSIST on charging them for an additional nights stay if they were there 1 minute past their check-out time. Caring, compassionate, and concerned is DEFINITELY NOT part of their business strategy , and in regards to the safety and well-being of their patrons, they DO NOT CARE!. HUGE MISTAKE doing business here. PLEASE PASS THE WORD!

They charged my card $200 for THEIR long ime plumbing issues. EVERY motel around this place is nice, and cheaper. Frontera is 10 bucks cheaper and similar to a motor lodge vs a place you would film a snuff flick. AVOID!

If there were an option to rate negative 5 stars, this would be the time. Its barely a "you get what you paid for for" type of situation. Please, spend a little more and spare yourself. Absolutely NOTHING was as advertised online and the service desk person was of NO help. I should have read reviews!!!

This place can easily be your worst nightmare..never seen a place so neglected by the owner.Know that it's the cheapest, but, trust me, for your personal dignity, consider as it doesn't exist and spend a little more.

The hotel is fairly clean and the proprietors are nice. However, our room had several large roaches, both dead and alive, in the bathroom and bedroom every night of our 4 night say. The price was very inexpensive, however, so we got what we paid for I believe.

The manager (woman), Is the most disrespectful person I've ever came across. She double booked our room to another family and instead of fixing her mistake she she refused to give us a room period. Pretty heartless lady.

Cheep has a all new low here at copper cactus there is nothing to like but the price off the room Cheep. If you can never come here. This place is for the people of the night.

This place is definitely a dump, which is why it's inexpensive. Usually I would say you get what you pay for but this place is worth less that the $32+tax and fees = $40 that I paid.
At least it's better than a cardboard box. So if you enjoy bugs, strong chemical smells to mask the urine and mildew odors and don't mind the see thru blinds that allow the neon light in as well as any peeping Toms that may pass by in the gravel alleyway outside the front door, then this is the place for you.response / report this review -

Very friendly service. Compassionate management who understood our exhausted state of travel and went out of their way to accommodate us. Pretty buildings that fit right into Tucson's atmosphere.
Room was small but cozy. Pool was clean & comfortable, and although it was maintained only moderately it was still a GREAT retreat from the baking heat.
Not a posh 5-star hotel, but if you're looking for a comfy & friendly place to stay in Tucson, this is your location!response / report this review
