We were in town for a UNC game. It was raining because of hurricane Mathew, so we decided stay the night. The hotel was way overpriced. We couldn't get the phone to work. The carpet was wet. Before we had a chance to get dinner the electricity went out. We waited in the dark hoping they had a generator. No one checked on us or offered any assistance. We finallly just went to bed. The bed was terrible, very hard and uncomfortable. In the morning we still didn't have electricity. So we had to stumble down the emergency stairs in the dark. There wasn't any breakfast. The front desk was not helpful or friendly. I called on Monday to complain. I was only offered 30% refund. Despite the fact that they did not provide any services but a hard bed to sleep on. Thanks so much. Would not recommend.

I have stayed here twice while in town working. I am a security officer that works night hours and sleeps durning the day. The hotel staff are fantastic in getting me a room where i am not bothered and can come and go as needed. This is my go to everytime i am in town for work.

Noisy, "guest" coming and going all hours of the night. Hotel manager wouldn't do anything about it.

stay at the comfort inn and when we checked in, we paid with a debit card and TOLD THEM no to authorize it just charge it out, well they authorized it, screwed up the reservation that was supposed to be for 4 days and put 2 so we had to check out and check back in, on the THIRD day we saw TWO charges, one for the first two nights and a HOLD for the second amount. We brought to the attention of the second shift clerk that she needed to get ahold of the merchant to take off the hold, She started typing after 10 minutes it was apparent that she had no idea what she was doing. YOU HAVE TO CALL THE MERCHANT TO GET A HOLD REMOVED. When Dad told me to just go that she did NOT know what she was doing she got RUDE said she did not have time to fool with RUDE PEOPLE. WHAT A JOKE, THEY charge us for the FULL STAY and a HOLD for the same amount that will stay there for 10 DAYS and we were the ONLY FOLKS STANDING THERE. MY DAD has worked in the hotel business for over 25 years as an AUDITOR and KNOWS what to do. YOU SHOULD AVOID THIS PLACE unless you have DOUBLE the money to stay there.
