Pick another hotel especially if they offer you the "basement" we booked on the website in advance. The "guaranteed" best rate was lower when we checked in, yet they said they couldn't give it to us. The hotel was under construction. Our room was below the parking lot. The wifi was terrible -- barely worked. Do yourself a favor and make a different "Choice."

There were hairs on the bed and I saw an ant in the bathroom. The breakfast was terrible. I wouldn't come here again.

This was a nice hotel. Clean and convenient. We'd come back if we were there again. The breakfast was also not terrible, so that was a plus.

If something isn't right with your room, they go above and beyond to make sure you're comfortable. Take advantage of the complimentary breakfast, the variety of breakfast foods is just right, there's a little something for everyone. I'll be staying here again, in future visits.

We stayed in the room with the jacuzzi tub and it was wonderful! Very comfy beds, pool that was not too cold or too warm, friendly staff, clean rooms and decent breakfast in the morning. We would absolutely stay here again

The rooms were large, clean, and well maintained. They were also generally up to date. I really appreciated the large bathrooms. They had a friendly professional staff. I speak highly for the reception staff and housekeeping.

Quaint little hotel. Rooms are well maintained and comfortable. Nice breakfast selection. Convenient location. Great staff. Adequate parking. Would definitely recommend.

Nice quiet property across from the Del Monte mall. Try the larger rooms with jacuzzi; the housekeeping is excellent.

Room had an unusual smell to it. There may have been a leak in the room. Some of the furniture there was torn. Upon check out I walked into the lobby and waited at an empty front desk until someone showed up after I spoke up. Btw there was that same chime after you walk in a convenience store that tells the clerk someone just walked in. But not all bad experience tho. Location was great. Pricing was competetive with surrounding hotels and it was accommodating to pets!

Comfort Inn Monterey by the Sea provided our family of 4 just what we need for a 1-night stay. Check-in and check-out was easy and simple. The room was clean and had the basic essentials. Complimentary breakfast was better than expected. Only wish the cable TV had clearer channels. Also be careful since the hot water gets hot really fast! Other than that not too much to complain about.

We spent a night at Comfort Inn and left a valuable thing in a safe box. It took us almost a week to remember the lost. Mr. Richard Benjamin, Front Desk Officer, was so nice and honesty to keep our stuff and send it back to us safely. So appreciated!! and a million thanks to him..Mr. Richard Benjamin :-)
