Great hotel, very comfortable and clean rooms. Friendly staff and excellent food in the bistro. The fireplace is a very mice touch. Try to ask for a room facing away from the street as it can be a little bit loud. The hotel also features a heated outdoor pool and spa. A short 10 minute walk from downtown and wharf. 9/10

The rooms are cozy feeling and the fireplaces are amazing! I was greeted with a warm smile and the bartender helped me select a fitting night cap drink to enjoy next to my fireplace! Thank yo and I will be back

Our room was fantastic. A deluxe two queen room with a fireplace. It was more, copies, and luxurious. Breakfast at the restaurant, however, was disappointing. Incredibly weak hot chocolate like you get from bad vending machines and rather spend service. We would return to the hotel to stay as overnight guests, if the price is right, but we would go elsewhere to eat.

Booked it with Expedia VIP and received a bottle of wine after check in. The room was a good size and not too far from downtown. We happen to be there on a non standard hot day and our room did not have AC. I do not believe the hotel in general does. That was really the only con. I enjoyed the coffee and scones in the morning and the cucumber water at reception.

My husband and I stayed here 7 nights for our honeymoon and it was perfect! The staff was friendly, accommodating, and very helpful. Our room was spacious and clean. We enjoyed the outdoor hot tub every night and housekeeping did a fantastic job every day.
Be sure to get your Monterey Bay Aquarium tickets through the hotel, too! They have a deal where you get two consecutive days tickets for the price of one day.response / report this review -

Very very good. Pool, jacuzzi and fire pit area is beautiful and relaxing. rooms are very clean. Beds very comfortable. Only thing the door had a big punch mark in the glass. Definitely would go back. To bad there aren’t other hotels like this around the United States air conditioning would be a plus but it did get cool at night

Nice hotel, good amenities. Almost every thing are new. Downside, no A/C at rooms despite the cold weather. Valuable treat on arrival reflects the hotel management hospitality.thanks

Every thing was good. Nice place,nice staff .would definitely recommend this place and also go back for another stay..
Just one small thing, the reception area is not quite visible, as we didn't see any staff when we entered. It's next to the bar ,since there was no one at the reception area, that looked like part of the bar 🤔. But as soon as the staff came it was all good.
Good job.
Really appreciate the courtesy call from the reception to see if everything was fine..

Really enjoyed our stay here. Had a great room. Breakfast was lovely in the hotel and it's located centrally. Hot tub was an added plus. Would definitely come back here!

Staff is very welcoming and friendly. Rooms are big but no AC only a fan which works great with the window open and the fresh sea breeze. Great stay !!

I had a very pleasant stay. The room was spacious (I had a room with two queen beds). The bathroom was also spacious which isn't always the case! When checking in and out I was nicely greeted and felt welcomed. We are dinner at their Bistro and it was good and the service was wonderful. I would definitely stay again!

This place went above and beyond. My boyfriend proposed to me here and called before we got there to work out details. They upgraded our room, left us a bottle of wine and chocolate, and even a thank you note for staying there. The room was great, we had a fireplace and king size bed. I am very happy my fiance chose this place, it was absolutely perfect!! We will definitely be back!!
