  They just sent us our renewal forms after being here a year but they haven't bothered to fix the issues we listed when we first moved in. Now I'm having to call them out multiple time to fix the same things because it take an average of 3 to 4 calls and tickets to get even one item fixed. Also, the water tempeture fluctuates in my building so prepare for a burning hot shower for 2 secons and freezing cold for the 2 seconds after that. I can't recommend based on the lack of care to their tennants.

  I wish we had looked around at other complexes before signing the lease. Awful. You know it's bad when you count down the days until move out day, from day one. The complex has great curb appeal, but that is the only good thing about it. The women in the office are rude and they do not care about the tenants. Every time we needed help with something it seemed that we were bothering them. Our property was damaged and destroyed by neighbors, and the office refused to talk to us about how to handle the situation. We don't smoke, but, the vents have a nice draft to let cigarette smoke and the awful smell of marijuana seep into our entire apartment. They refused to help. Terrible communication throughout the complex about issues such as the water. Hot water is shut off for no reason with little warning. Our bank had a mishap and the office disabled our way of paying rent online, and we were still charged a surcharge every month to pay online, even though we couldn't. Take your money to a different company because this place is not worth it.

  Avoid at all costs. Bugs, water constantly shut off. And then when you move out expect a bill for almost as much as the rent.

  I normally don't write reviews on apartments, but I felt the need to have to let people know how great this place is. The staff I have personally encountered and dealt with from the beginning have been great & efficient. The maintenance is phenomenal and my neighbors are more friends than they are strangers. I can't say enough good things. I am primarily moving out because my rent went up $150 if I were to renew after my first year. During that time I changed jobs. My job has moved to Dallas & I commute about an hour & 15 minutes to work and home daily. Both at rush hour traffic times. I am genuinely sad to be moving, which is a first for me. I live alone & come and go random times of the day & night. I've never felt unsafe at all. I have not seen a bug at ALL the entire time living here. (I am very clean, so that helps a lot) I can't say enough great things about colonial Village. If you are considering moving here, don't hesitate! It's truly a great place.

  This place is way under rated, I have had the best experience living here. Repairs are done quick, paying rent is easy, pools always open, and the staff are ever so friendly.

  I have been in this apartment for nearly a year. Every time I have a maintenance issue they come right out and take care of it. If there's a problem with the water heater we immediately get emails letting us know and their deepest apologies. I have had no problems with bugs loud noises or rude Neighbors. I can honestly say this is the best apartment complex I have lived in in the past 4 years

  The apartment my wife and I leased for one year was nice but their were some issues. Their were crickets in our apartments, the hot water would get randomly shut off and the staff were a bit rude at times. The one good thing was the promptness of the maintenance crew.

  I would seriously strongly advise you take your money elsewhere. There have been problem after problem since the day we moved in. First it was the AC that took 100 times of them coming back to finally get it working and one Room still doesn't get air. Then the dryer stopped drying our clothes. and bugs. Big brown two to three inch long cockroaches and spiders from hell. The worst issue of them all would have to be the slab leak we have encountered. They had to dig up all around our unit and cut holes in the ceiling and we don't even know how long it will take to fix it. Let's just say if you want to live somewhere decent it's not this place. I'm very very unhappy since day one and we still have 6 months left on our lease.

  My wife and I have been here for the past year now and we honestly can't complain about a whole lot. We've been very fortunate to not have a whole bunch of things break on us. A few things have needed a little tuning up but the service guy, Jose, has done an excellent job with communication and diligence.
  
  The staff in the office has always been friendly and helpful to us since coming here. Even when there was a tornado warning, we went to the main office and just hung out for an hour eating donuts. That was a pretty cool time if you ask me. 😉
  
  The only real bummer has been the price spike. I know there's not much the Colonial Village personally can do, as the rates are based on the market. Our rent was gonna go up almost $200 if we renewed our lease. For newlyweds starting their own business and with a newborn, it was just too much. Other than that, we would have loved to stay. The location is insanely central, the airport was just a few minutes away, and we never really had any issues with our neighbors.
