I guess I was anticipating long lines and disgruntled underpaid employees. When in fact it was just the opposite, a helpful friendly staff assisted me with my application for CCW. Quick and painless. Two cheers for the staff at the clermont county sheriff's department. Weeks earlier than I could have gotten it done at any of the surrounding counties.

No wait and no appointment for CCW. In and out in less than 20 minutes. Staff pleasant to deal with. Applied March 1 and received in the mail on March 26. Would still have two weeks to wait on my initial appointment in Warren County (booking appointments 6 weeks out). Clermont is quickly and efficiently meeting the needs of the community (and surrounding communities) for the purpose of CCW/CHL.

I have dealt with the department both personally & professionally for close to 20 years and can not say enough about how well the sheriff runs this organization. This is at least on a weekly and at times a daily basis & I don't believe out of hundreds of contacts I've never been accorded anything but courteous and professional service from both the civilian and uniformed staff.

Went here to get my CCW application processed. They were extremely efficient and there was no wait whatsoever. They allow walk ins. Be sure to have all of your paperwork. Whats up with these other counties doing by appointment only 3 months in advance? If you are adjacent to Clermmont, this is the place to do it.
