My mother sent in paperwork and they claim to have never gotten it yet she got a email saying that they got the paper work. Well they took away the medical for my father who has cancer and his meds cost $600 a month. While at the office they were rude and could careless that they made a mistake and aren't doing much about it. I wouldn't give them any stars if that was possible but the state of Ohio needs to clean up and start treating people with respect.

Horrible horrible just horrible. Lost my job went there to get help, started calling on April 23rd to get answers, as of may 5th I have yet to hear from anyone. Tried to find a supervisor no one well help you, try to find numbers on line there isn't any. They treat you like you are lieing and stealing it's obvious the head of the department thinks this way. I will start calling are state Representative on Monday. Folks it is not crime to need help and we should not let then treat us as such.

The job and family service office hours are not conducive to my work schedule. It is nearly impossible to reach anyone on the phone here. Applying for assistance is a painstakingly tedious (and sometimes embarrassing) process as it is.
So, when I'm able to manage some time off work to come get the paperwork and physically turn it in to the office, it is disheartening to be treated condescendingly.
This office should consider, at the very least, opening phone lines to real people who can answer simple questions. Staying open until 5-5:30, or a half day on Saturday, would also help applicants. Maybe making the website more user-friendly might be a solution, as well.

Says it's open until 4:30 but the phones close at 4. The people are always very rude and they are extremely condescending.

Wish I could give 0 stars. This place is so unprofessional. Have tried to call everyday and every time I get the message "Our call center is closed". Your call center is closed on a Wednesday at 10 in the morning?! Absolutely ridiculous. Then the message tells you to email them if you have questions. I did, and still haven't received anything back after a week. I work a M-F 8-4:30 job and they close at 4:30. How can they expect people to just miss work to go down to their office to actually talk to someone?! THIS IS ABSURD! This place is supposed to help people but they don't! Waste of community taxes that goes to these kinds of places.
