Best hotel ever. I love the decor and the fitness center is awesome. Every time I visit West Virginia I would definitely stay in this hotel. Everything about this hotel I love.

Nice room for the price. My only issue was an event that happened took up all of the parking one of the evenings we were there. Had a long walk back to our room after squeezing into a spot at the edge of the lot.

It was around 2am when I finally made it to the hotel. Since I didn't get in till late, I ended up sleeping until about 2:30pm. Most hotels I stay at will call all the rooms at checkout time and make sure everyone is out. This hotel didn't do that, and they didn't rush me out the door at all!! The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very nice!!

Was here for new years celebration. From what I can tell, it is a very nice place! The restaurants are great, staff is friendly, and the place was clean. It is set in a small town and off a secondary road, so ease of access and visibility are its downfalls. But 3 out of 5 ain't bad!

Went for the Thanksgiving Dinner/Buffet meal. Rather crowded, but that was expected. Were seated quickly (you need reservations, and are given a time). Lines went quickly, food was plentiful. Food quality was good but there didn't seem to be the variety that there has been in the past, and the girls commented on the quality not being quite there either as it has been. Have gone the last few years - not sure if we'll go next year or not.

When you pull up to the building, all the prime parking at the front of the building I s reserved for their employees. Guest parking is very far away. When we walked into the lobby, the concierge stared at her computer screen, ignored us and acted like she hoped we wouldn’t bother her. When I walked into the room, the light switch didn’t work and I had to fumble around in the dark to find a lamp. The walls are beat up and need painted. The shower has mildew throughout. There is grime on all the doors around the doorknobs. The pillows are strangely miniaturized and awkward. The overall attitude of their staff is inhospitable.

I truly do not understand the good reviews of this hotel. First of all, the red bed spread and blanket underneath are washed on a "as needed" basis! The bed spread and blanket! That is disgusting! When I stayed there last time there was a white bodily fluid mark down the side of the red bedspread. When I asked for a clean one they stated they had to wash one first. Seriously? Not one extra clean bedspread? I went and bought my own comforter from Marshall's. The room is extremely outdated and needs a deep cleaning. The breakfast bar in the morning has scrambled eggs surrounded by some sort of egg juice. It is absolutely disgusting and I will never stay there again.

I did not go here. If you like Olney and are visiting and don't have any relatives then Clarion is great for you. It is small but cozy. I suggest you going there.

going with four stars but was a mixed experience. check in occurred with an attitude which after a long drive is not welcome. overall had good experience with the front desk but one bad apple especially at the front desk is not a good start. the hotel has a gym which was fine but i felt for a conference center needed to be bigger and having one treadmill out of service did not help. beautiful basketball court but wait was not available as being used for another function.rooms are fine and Jessica for whom i left a tip did a good job of keeping mine clean. 3.9 which is the current rating is pretty close as they need a lot of improvement to get a full 4. bottom line you will get an ok experience at this hotel.
