We loved our dinner at Churchill's from the wide variety of beer and food on their menu, to the delicious dinners we selected and also the atmosphere. This is a large restaurant with plenty of seating, including an outdoor rooftop seating section. The British pub fare is really good - we had a variety of dishes such as Fish and Chips and Shepard's Pie. We will be sure to visit again next time we're in Savannah.

Highly recommend starting off at the Scotch eggs. Most of my group ordered the fish and chips and not one of them was disappointed. I ordered the meatloaf sandwich it was not my style but was very good. I'm not a huge fan of sweet barbecue sauce on my meatloaf but tried it anyways. Next time I go back I will definitely be having the fish and chips. Unfortunately the night we were there there was a table of people that would have better fit the middle of the night. They were loud rude and vulgar and the staff said they were trying to get them out of there but would not ask them to quiet down or leave. I did make comments myself to them and they were just as vulgar to me personally. I was not rude did not swear but they felt the need be vulgar. I understand it is a restaurant for all types of people vulgarity should not be tolerated during dinner hours. The staff needs to keep a better handle on its patrons.

Food was good like normal but our server was nowhere to be seen most of the time. She came and gave us water, took our order and delivered it. But didn't check on us during the meal. When she came to pick up our plates after we had finished she acted really awkward about us leaving. Not sure what she was thinking. After she brought us the check though she disappeared again. We sat there for 10 minutes before grabbing another waitress. Not sure what was up but it was not the norm

Churchill's has great food and a wonderful atmosphere. It feels like you're in a genuine English pub with dark wood, dim lighting, and cozy booths. You have to try the German pretzel appetizer! It's the largest pretzel I've ever seen and it was delicious.

Wow, great ambiance and service, and the food is freaking spectacular. It is also actually very affordable too! The cheddar beer soup and the steak pie were to die for!

Food: 4.5 - Prosciutto wrapped dates were good, overall. Romaine wedge was wonderful. Extensive wine and beer selection with great options.
Ambience: 4 - WWII themed, with wine list divided into allies / axis powers. Only complaint is that the lighting is lacking (other patron using phone flashlight to read menu).
Service: 5 - Attentive wait staff, fast service.
Value: 4 - Prices a little steep for portions.
Overall: 4.38 - Would return, at least to rooftop bar which we did not have time for.response / report this review -

This place was awesome! The wait staff was attentive and accurate on the order. The food was great. Highly recommend the Steak and Ale Pie. Good selection of beers and good recommendationa from the servers. If I ever find myself back in Savannah I will definitely be going back.

Michelle is awesome! Great place for drinks and beers. Not a big food selection or appetizers. Be prepared to have the same dishes as a bunch of people if you come in a group. Loved the fish and chips though. Also, my boyfriend ordered a 1/2 lb cheeseburger and was able to customize with bacon and a fried egg to make it even more delicious. 7

This is a favorite place of mine when we visit Savannah. The interior is beautiful and the rooftop bar is nice, but not always open. The fish and chips are very good ,but the shrimp and grits are the best I've ever eaten. So good!

The customer service was impeccable! We had the mussles to begin our dining experience and a few cocktails that were made on the strong side (which was a good thing). My husband and I shared the fish and chips and the shrimp grits. Both were good but the grits were just awesome! For dessert we had the praline bread pudding with carmel sauce with a scoop of ice cream! That was heaven on earth! I'd recommend this wonderful, quaint establishment for couples, families and everyone else who enjoys a great meal.

Beautiful interior. The exposed brick walls look amazing. The rooms at street level are cozy. Broken up into separate rooms, with the feel of a really nice English pub. The lower level is more open, complete with its own bar and wine cellar. Friendly hostess, attentive waitress and delicious food.

Great bartenders. Great drinks. Food is good too! Not too pricey. About average to a bit above. Usually draws a younger crowd, but the atmosphere is old style bar. Always fun.
