I m disappointed, me and my family frequently go to Chicago Pizza. I informed the manager this evening that tasted and smelled the aroma of beer in my son's personal pizza. Since my son has never drank an alcoholic beverage beverage before he could no tell, but I could. I rarely drink beer because or too much of it because it causes me to have headaches. I thought I was doing the right thing by informing the manager but instead the manager argued with me and slammed the phone instead. We always enjoyed going there through the years but more than likely I won't anymore since what I reported did not matter to them. Very disappointed. But I do want to add on a lighter note, the waiter was very polite, if I could afford to tip the waiter 100 dollars I would have, so I'm going to add another star for the good customer service by the waiter only. The manager was rude and selfish.
This is by far is one of the absolute best pizza places I have ever had in my now 28 years of living. Let me just say I am a true American, and I love pizza! I promise you will not regret it. This is their deep dish meat lovers specialty pizza. It is a very nice environment too, it sits right on the St. Johns river downtown at the Jacksonville Landing. They have arcades and a bar. Great place for family or a casual night out with friends.
best deep dish, besides carmines pizza in riverside. full bar with not many beers on tap. each table gets it own tv. great for watching all the games on a sunday. outside patio on the water. service has always been quality. THEY REMODELED THE BACK AND OH MY!!! GAMERS HEAVEN. classic arcade game cabinets, several high performance desktop, all home console (new and old) including a Nintendo Switch to play. not sure on the pricing for the games.
Amazing pizza! Deep dish Chicago style yumminess. And the views from the patio over the river are simply lovely. Red-headed server was super friendly and service was timely and pleasant. Definitely visit this place!
My family and myself ( 3 people ) were excited about visiting Jacksonville this labor day weekend. We decided to head to the Jacksonville Landing and grub on some pizza. One problemwe never got our pizza. Despite it being Saturday Night on Labor Day Weekend, the restaurant was surprisingly moderate/not busy. Although, Upon arrival, there was at least 15 people waiting at the door for service. We waited at the front to be seated for almost 35 minutes. During this 35 minute period we were told 3 times by two different employees that someone would be right with us. Once we were seated we waited 20 more minutes and still no waiter had came to our table to ask what we wanted to drink. The final straw was when I saw a waiter casually talking with a bartender while we have not been served. This restaurant has 3 stars so this may have been a bad night for the staff; however, when you are touring and drive 30 minutes to go to a restaurant and wait nearly an hour and still don't even get a greeting from a waiter, you just don't get second chances. This was a horrible first impression. If we ever do travel back to Jacksonville and go to the Landing we will not choose this restaurant. We left hungry at 11 PM and never got an apology for our wait. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants quality service.
If you are staying at a hotel or work in Downtown Jacksonville, this is a not a bad place for lunch. Just make sure you have an hour lunch break if you want time to sit and eat at the restaurant. I was greeted and seated promptly, but was accidentally given the dinner menu at Noon instead of the lunch menu. The bartender gave me the lunch menu that had the pricing for lunch.
I ordered the personal pepperoni pizza. I first thought it was drenched in sauce when I saw it, luckily it was the regular amount of sauce. They prepare it with the sauce ON the toppings instead of under. So don't get shocked when you see your pizza.
It was fresh, very hot, amazingly flavorful and very cheesy!
Reminded me a lot of a calzone in a way. I would eat there again.
Pizza was delicious! We ordered garlic bread also and it was delicious as well! Our waitress was great! We would return if we visit Jacksonvile again. My only complaint is the restrooms could use a good thorough cleaning.
Service was great and the bartender was awesome. Heather was a great server
Panhandelers in the restaurant. Service was terrible. Whole landing was a ghost town on a weekend
They are absolute Crooks they are stealing from people so when you go in if you sit at their bar and you order to go for instance my total was $11.77 I gave her a $20 bill she gave me back $8 she didn't give me back the change now mind you I know it's only $0.23 but she did it to the guy next to me so my issue is if you they're not giving people their change because she claims that she doesn't handle change at the bar then you guys are stealing from people because at the end of the day if you are taking money from everybody who sits at that bar and not giving them the change back properly you guys over a year's time you're getting hundreds of dollars from people all because the manager is just rounding down like she told her so they're robbing people.
When I was at that bar there was at least 10 people at that table and is she took money from everybody and didn't give them back there change they're robbing people everyday. I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.
Me & my hubby went here today! Gotta say it was actually a wonderful spot. We had lemon pepper wings that were very tasty, there cheese fries were amazing! The supreme pizza was also delicious, the crust was very tasteful & hot!!! (Fresh) The waitress was also very polite & greeted us with great hospitality!!! The view from the patio that overlooks the river is Beautiful as Well!!! Have to say for our first time eating here it was very nice We will be back!!!
