I got a used car in good condition and needed only one big repair that cost me $500 to fix. Go in with your eyes open and go with someone that knows about cars. I have recommended the auction to other people and I would go back again.

This place is a complete rip off! The owner Obie is a greedy, mean, fast talking, con man. He wears sunglasses in the dark because he can't even look you in the eyes & lie with a straight face. They try to force you to buy cars that need major body & mechanical work. For viewing before the auction 99% of the cars won't even start or don't have gas. During the auction some cars break down or run out of gas in the bay. I purchased a car for $2,400 from them and had to put $2,500 into it that's $4,900. What's even worse is after I made the purchase and was given the keys Obie saw me walking out to the yard & assumed I was stealing the car I bought. He sent a salesman & receptionist out to the yard after me. As I got in the car I saw them quickly approaching. They asked me if I purchased the car. I'm not sure what kind of people this place is used to dealing with but I must say it's far from anything that I'm used to. If would've known I was gonna be lied to, mistreated & taken advantage of I would've just purchased a $5,000 car from a reputable car lot. The only good thing I have to say is the salesman Amer was very nice & helpful. That's the only reason I feel comfortable giving them 1 star. Otherwise, i would give them a negative zero star rating if it was possible. This place is a joke & a waste of time. Therefore, Buyer beware! I will not be returning to this shady place full of cons.

Good prices, nice cars. Customer service was great. I purchased two cars from the auction and was very satisfied. They were very upfront about certain cars that had things wrong with them like brakes or tires. I felt confident that I was not being cheated. I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and family.

A person is better off going to a real car lot because I Brought a truck from this place and its sitting in my driveway not working. I had the truck only a few months Paid $4500.00 and I can't drive it. The dealer assured to me that this is a good truck and it had been check out its in good conditions. The Motor and Transmission are both gone out. I call Waukegan Auto Auction and spoke to the manager about the truck he sold me he spoke of no interest or no concern about my problem concerning this truck..

I wish I could have bought more than one car here. The auction is fantastic! I ended up getting a minivan because that's what the wife and I needed. But I watched cars sell for $700, $1,000 and one was around $300. You can get amazing deals here and it's a cool way to buy your car.

I just bought a 2007 PT Cruiser on Thursday May 25th 2007 from the dealership there at Waukegan Auto Auction. I worked with Bobby and DeRay they assured me their auto mechanic did a thorough check and this dealership was under new management and they are doing things differently. Well after only 3 days the CHECK ENGINE light came on. I was informed they unplug an area which can last a few days long enough to sell the car. This is very DECEIVING!! BEWARE!!!!

Excellent team here at WAA. Was looking into a promising Mini Cooper but found that it needed more work than expected. The team here did everything they could to get me into the mini but it just wasn't in the right condition to drive away with. I recommend anyone that I can to at least check these guys out, I plan on coming back in the future to see what I can find next time.

I have purchased two Trucks from here. The first a year ago was a very high mileage vehicle (mechanically sound though), but the price was very low. In other word a great deal. The second Truck is a very nice vehicle in excellent shape, the price was literally half of what the vehicle is selling for on other lots. I had a great experience with both purchases and would recommend anyone to buy here. The deals I got were a great price for good vehicle. Know what you want and what you will pay for it and you will be happy with this dealer.

I will give this place more than 5 star if I could. It was experience from the public auction. I got a really deal. All the guys were helpful and made purchase and transaction easy. I recommend everyone to give this auction a shot.
