With a truly staggering amount of sandwiches on offer (around 100, I believe) and a distinctive musical style this is a great little sandwich shop to stop by for lunch. The sandwiches are also gigantic, so I recommend grabbing the half-sandwich if able.

Absolutely love the Cherry St. Deli. Really well crafted sandwiches and salad. The menu is very extensive with choices that I'm sure someone will find something they enjoy. I love their pastrami and corned beef sandwich selection as well as the houseman sandwich. Nice place for outdoor seating as well. I would highly recommend.

Cherry Street Deli is the perfect little hometown deli. The food is delicious. I am very impressed with the large variety they offer. Service is quick and friendly. I highly recommend them.

Probably my favorite sandwich shop in town. So many choices, and all of them I have had were exceptional. Some outside seating for the nice months and a relatively quick turn around on your order. Size of sand which for the price is reasonable to sometimes generous depending on the bread type

Always have had great experiences here. That said, make note to explore the menu ahead of time when paying a maiden visit here, the menu is extensive, playful, and pays homage to Grand Rapids in a way that might leave you reading into every description. In short, make your mind up before you come in to eat, and be prepared to wait a little bit if you hit the deli during lunch hours.

I sincerely love this place. The sandwiches are amazing, service is friendly and usually efficient.
Soups change daily and are usually quite good, but they always have a vegetarian and vegan option. They always have white chili chicken as well.
There literally dozens of sandwich options. My favorite is the Logan, which comes with jus and is delicious. You can get half sandwiches (half the meat) or full - half is more than enough for most.
Salads are decent and well-sized.
You can call ahead, take out, or dine in. Pickles are available upon request.
Try it out, you won't be disappointed!

One of the best Uber casual restaurants in the hill/downtown area! The staff is very friendly, the salads & dressings are FRESH. The variety of sandwich offerings is expansive. I like ordering a whole sandwich and having 1/2 for lunch the next day. Try the #14 hot. The wait time is minimal too. I think 4.5 is appropriate based on the interior, that could use an update. It's a gem of a place though.
