The staff is amazing! Food is wonderful! Had a Life Celebration here, the entire staff went above and beyond.
Took my girlfriend here for her 25th birthday. We were simply looking for a place to get a good steak and despite the prices being a little extravagant we had a great time. Priscilla was our waitresses and couldn't have been more of a sweetheart. We had ordered the table side chef and were greeted with a very easy going yet engaged cook who introduced himself as Jimmy, one of the co-owners. We had a great experience and I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a nice evening out.
Decided to sit in the Riveara Lounge for our first visit. Really comfortable and classy atmosphere with a great service staff. We had a light meal but everything was prepared, proportioned and presented with care. Awesome evening, we'll be back!
Great place to eat. A wonderful chop house.
Server was amazing. Dessert was amazing. If I have one complaint it is the fact that there are A lot of al a carte items. But definitely worth the stop.
Brunch menu is tired nothing has changed in years. Our foursome was seated at our reservation time and was shown the buffet and provided with beverages. That's where all service ended. Nobody came back to fill coffee or clear plates. We sat with our dishes piled up for over an hour after finishing and not a single server came by to offer coffee refill, bus table or provide us with a check. We literally could have walked out without paying and nobody would have noticed. But we did finally get someone's attention as they were flying past is and asked for a bill. She huffed like we were putting her out granted she wasn't our server but we hadn't seen her in 2 hours. In light of my sister's bad anniversary dinner this week I can see there's been no improvementI won't be back.
This is my favorite restaurant in the area. A lovely dining atmosphere, excellent wait staff, and excellent food. Favorites: Love the calamari, every kind of steak and chop on the menu, and the au gratin potatoes.
Great food, people, and atmosphere. the host louie is usually pretty good.
(:
My son wanted Louis' Chop House for his birthday dinner so they cook his steak wrong twice ordered medium came out first time completely overdone second time came out blue/red raw! Mind you it's called the Detroiter comes out Sliced so the cook can see how it's cooked before it leaves the kitchen WTH! Manager stupid look on her face says I don't understand. REALLY I tell her to get the cook I'll explain it to him Needless to say my son had a few onion rings and that's about it to eat the rest of our meals were OK nothing special but cost us $120 & the worst birthday dinner experience ever! Not a happy parent right now! Very piss poor management and cooks. Will never go back there again
Really good food. First time my sister went there and she liked the sale& soup! I love the atmosphere, Trevor the waiter was first class and very accomadating, we will return!
Had brunch there last Sunday and it was wonderful. They had such a great array of dishes to choose from and everything was delicious. I especially enjoyed the French Toast and made to order omelettes (the chef on omelette duty was very entertaining and quickly churned out one omelette after another). Hats off to the all the other chefs and most especially our waitress, Sharon, she was just awesome! #IllBeBackSoon
This place was good but is now going down hill. We reserved a table for a staff lunch to celebrate reaching a business goal. We were given ice water then waited for over 20 minutes but could not get any service. We told the hostess we were leaving and she thanked us for going because they were so unorganized. We had lunch across the street at Bagger Dave's. Sad to see a formerly decent venue go into decay.
I have a severe food allergy and advised the server when she took my order. The server ensured me that the dish I ordered was free of my food allergy. After eating there I became very sick the next morning. The dish I had at Louis' Chop House the night before was not free of my food allergy.
36 hours later I was still very sick and I called to talk to the manager (the person I talked to was the owner's son).
I was very disappointed with his dismissive response trying to redirect the conversation by talking about other situations and customers. He was so inexperienced and unprofessional. I'm not sure what was worse. being served a dish that made me sick or having to deal with an owner's son who doesn't understand good customer service and lack of listening skills.
Burgers were dry and overcooked. Lobster bisque had clumps and no flavor. Dinner salad had dirty lettuce leaves. Service was slow. For such an allegedly nice place they sure dont take the time to do the little detail things. The candle holder on our table was dirtylike it was in a third rate diner dirty. It was my second time here. We wont be back.
One of the greatest places for a nice dinner. Don't just reserve it for special events either, it is too good not to go more often. The steaks and service are both out of this world and will keep you coming back.
Tuesday i went in to the chop house and was waited on by a young gentleman "Jonah" i believe his name was. I've never experienced such grace and care with my meal and well-being. The staff was extremely nice, and this server is defiantly being seen again. 10/10 recommend.
