Great dining experience in the Laurel Highlands. The waitstaff was very we coming and friendly and the food was wonderful.

We went here a few days ago. The place wasnt too busy which was a plus for us. The head chef came out and introduced herself to us. She told us about the menu, the fresh ingredients, and even made recommendations after asking what we were looking for. My wife had the shrimp alfredo which was very good. I had the thanksgiving sandwich which was delicious. Everything was homemade and the cranberry relish for my sandwich was phenomenal. Our son had sliders and fries off kids menu. It was good. The only reason Im giving this place 4 stars is because I feel the portion size could have been a little bit bigger given the price. Overall this place is very good and you wont be disappointed. Give it a shot.

Stuffed mushrooms are always delicious , so delicious I ordered 2 more to go. Staff there are always very nice and helpful. My favorite place to eat hands down.. You will not find a better place to enjoy an awesome meal.

The head chef/owner came to our table twice: once to describe her selections and then to hear what how we liked our choices. Our five entrees could not have been better; such unique dishes and unusual flavors along with the freshest of ingredients (especially the scallops!). The wait staff was equally personable and knowledgeable. We so appreciated the soft music; made it so pleasant to converse with each other. We will be bringing others to this delectable gem!

Great food, good service, large beer selection, minimal liquor choices.
Had the steak salad, very good with real steak tips done right. Wife had the seafood pomadoro, very tasty. Highlight was the grape leaves.response / report this review -

We just had a baby shower at Chef Dato's yesterday. We cannot be more pleased with everything! Besides the yummy food, the staff was more than accommodating and made sure that all the guests were well taken care of. The whole experience was absolutely fantastic!!
