Nah, I had the worst experince today, basicly, a doctor FALCONE! Just rush though the exam. My issue was wax build up and some pain. Which he said he didnt see anymore wax build up because I had been trying to get it out myself but I was having pain in my ear sometimes. So he already had quickly, exam me! Im sitting there trying to ask question and he like rushing me out of the room! I pay my co-pay just like everybody else! I was left in shook! Even his nurse look at me, everybody else looking! Like WOW! She was in and out in 5 minutes! Doctor FALCONE was not thorough, at ALL! The WORST! I every experience by any doctor. EVERY Doctor, should be held at a HIGH STANDARD in how they should treat ALL PEOPLE!
They should take time and be thorough with all PATIENTS and allow them to ask questions! He gave me a prescription, which after I got it was for allergys! Which I already had that allergy spray! I never a had a bad experience with a doctor, especially any SPECIALIST! Definitely! it wasnt a POSITIVE EXPERIENCE, AT THE UNIVERSITY, CHARLOTTE EYE, EAR, NOSE & THROAT! Only, thing I can say is WOW!!! Hopefully, there are other GOOD, PATIENT, DOCTORS, IN THAT FACILITY.

We had a great first visit; Dr. Lovejoy and his PA Amanda were fantastic! They were singing and having the best time with my toddler to put her at ease! I would highly recommend them for younger children and will post updates for later visits!

I called to get some results and I was put on hold multiple of times. The front staff who answered the phone put me on hold and then sent me back to the beginning automated voice message where I had to pick the option to talk to the front staff again. I explain to the same front staff that she put me back to the beginning, but she was just annoyed that I told her what she did. The front staff didn't even apologized and put me on hold again. After waiting, she said she will just send the doctor an email. I had to ask what her name was too, but she sounded even more annoyed. To Clarrissa, if I spelled your name correctly, get a better attitude when you speak to patients.

Had exam and ordered eyewear. All was fine, but I don't have the glasses yet to be able to say for sure.

These guys have been so great with my 1 year old. We had to start seeing Dr. Lovejoy, because of chronic ear infractions. Logan feels so at ease here and doesn't mind them checking his ears.

literally one of the worst consults I've ever had. I have terrible TMJ and I live in South Charlotte. I took time off to come all the way there because this location has the only TMJ "specialist". I came and the 5 min visit consist of us sitting there talking about how much TMJ sucks. I was told I would be referred to a physical therapist. I never heard from the office again. But they did send me a bill which of course made my TMJ worse with anger. I even asked about the doctor's thoughts on botox and got a basic "I don't know about that treating TMJ?"I kid you not. This was a 100% waste of my time and money and I can't say that about anything else.

The staff is VERY nice and the doctors are knowledgeable. My problem with this office was the cost of my procedure. I came in for loss of hearing and was told a steroid shot in my ear canal could help me regain hearing, but wasn't guaranteed. When I asked the cost the doctor said he didn't know and cost/billing for procedures went through another office outside of the doctor's office. I agreed to the steroid shot b/c I had a small window of time to get the shot from the initial hearing loss in order for the shot to be effective. Two months later I have a bill for $1200 specifically for the shot!!! This is RIDICULOUS!!! I should have been told the cost as it definitely would have made a difference in my decision. Especially with something that had a 50% chance of working. So 2 months later I have a bill for 1200 and no change in my hearing. Theres NO REASON why a shot and procedure that took less than 10 minutes to perform should cost this much! Especially for someone like myself who has to pay the bill due to a high deductible.

I had cataract replacement surgery on April 4 and 18 of 2017. I went with multiple focal lenses, because it would give me the best chance to not need glasses. Currently, I have difficulty reading. My distance vision is 20/40 and 20/50. I have a follow up to determine if PRK can improve my condition. I'm hopefully that I'm a candidate for PRK to improve by current condition.

I had cataract replacement surgery on April 4 and 18. I went with multiple focal lenses, because it would give me the best chance to not need glasses. Instead, I now can barely read and only in perfect conditions. My distance vision is 20/40. I'm so disappointed. I work in an office environment and find it a struggle to read email and do basic task. I think my prescription was wrong, but they don't seem to want to admit it. My regular optometrist feels the results are disappointing also. In some ways they seem more interested in making money and less interested in patient outcomes. As bad as it was before, it is worse after my surgery.

Call to make an appointment on a Tuesday morning for their first available. Their first available was Thursday at this location. They found one sooner for Wednesday at 12:30 at a separate location. Go to the location to find out the appointment was Tuesday. Not a great experience when you have to Uber.

Dr. Lovejoy (ENT) is great with kids. He plays with them, starting with peekaboo before he ever enters. He draws a puppet for them on a flavored tongue depressor. My son is 4 and on his third set of ear tubes, so he is reluctant to have his ears checked normally, but not here!

    Hearing test and consultation.

    Pros:
    Both doctors were excellent.
I felt less like a patient and more like a friend or family member.
The testing appeared to be comprehensive and thorough.

    Con:
I would have liked to have addressed everything in one visit as opposed to scheduling a follow up for additional information.

I would like to believe it was a time constraint for the busy doctors and not a way to get additional money for another visit. After all, I feel like a friend or family. :)
