It was a nice bar and lounge area. You can tell it is very clean there. More of an older crowd though.

The room was clean and the front desk personnel were fun to talk to. Free continental breakfast was offered and enjoyed by my whole party. I didn't get to use the pool but it was clean but small. I did have an issue with an allergic reaction to something. I got a room for pets and the previous person may have had a cat because I was a coughing, wheezing mess once we turned the fan on. Other than that, it was a reasonably priced hotel that we were grateful to have found.

Minus the mama spider with all her babies (100+) that we found in the bathroom..Assuming they were looking for somewhere safe and cozy. We moved them outside and all was well. Very nice hotel and awesome bike rentals!

I made a reservation for August 7, 2017 , 2 double beds for my sister and I. This was beginning of her 80th birthday trip to the UP , she is from ND. When we got there I had to wait for clerk to return to desk . When we got our key and went to room it was not 2 double beds. Went back to desk and clerk said they had no rooms with 2 double beds. I made this reservation way back I May. She offered us a suite with a pull out sofa said they had nothing else. Nothing else available in town. Pull out sofa was springs that felt like just wrapped in a blanket. So one of us slept just on sofa without pulling bed out. No offer discount or apology from manager. Needs updating everything well worn. Not a happy person for this price.

This room was not worth the money! There were stains on the walls and pencil marks still left over from hanging the hand towel holders ( they have to of been there a while because the holders didn't look very new). The hotel itself looked very cookie cutter and lacked the charm I normally look for in hotels. The decor was outdated with some modern art work on the walls. There was a continental breakfast available but I've paid less for a way better selection. For a hot food option you can have fresh waffles but the topping choices are lacking or you can have one of the microwavable breakfast sandwiches or boritos. There was one upside, the staff was very friendly! The breakfast room attendant was wonderful and the front desk staff was very helpful.

Close by the water, not a large hotel. The rooms are also cozy.

Didn't stay as they were completely booked with 3 weddings, but the receptionist was very nice and even called a couple other hotels to find us a room.

Our room had an adjoining door and we could hear everything the other room said and did.Including snoring a 4am. That said. The roo was nice and clean. The bed was comfortable. The staff was awesome. Very friendly and attentive. I'd stay again but ask for a more quiet room.

Didn't notice any of the negatives that were mentioned in recent reviews.

Staff when we checked in were friendly, charging what we were quoted ($79/night for one night). Based on that price and the overall impression, this place deserves five stars.

The room was slightly outdated, nothing like a Holiday Inn, but it was functional and definitely comfortable (We absolutely loved the bed). The shower was the best we've seen in a hotel.

Breakfast was, again, not like a Holiday Inn but to be fair was never presented as such. Its basic, but does have options to make your own waffles and pancakes. Nothing we saw was expired.

The drive from here to downtown is unbeatable (for the price point). We definitely plan on being back!
