They've always done my friend right aside from pricing (everyone will rob you in a college town). Just be careful of their OUTDATED STRUCTURES. I had a window gore my knee. 53 stitches and 2 years later, I still have a hard time walking.
Be careful. The owner might try to f--- you for money if you've got a cat between your legs.
Rapists/sexual predators, WORST BUSINESS, WORST ETHICS, WORST PROPERTIES on the up side if you are a cute young girl, Chapman will discount your rent for sex, wich has been proven true in court, ANY RATING OVER ONE STAR IS MORE THAN LIKELY FAKE OR PAID FOR!
Worst rental place in town (there are a lot) and don't expect that security deposit back. Super rude and not professional at all.
10/10. Basement is beautifully decorated, and there are plenty of spaces in the wall to hide things.
STAY AWAY. If you are looking to get something fixed, they might pencil you in about two months from then. Payed WAY too much for what i was getting. Don't even think about putting anything against the poor plastered walls, you'll pay for the smallest scratches.
I recently just moved into one of Chapman's apartments. It is very nice and Mr.Chapman along with the other lady in the office are great people! I've seen other reviews on here about the rent being "super high", but I only pay $790 monthly WITH utilities included. Chapman is the ONLY real estate agency that I will rent from.
DO NOT RENT FROM CHAPMAN HOUSING. This was by far the worst mistake I made when transferring to Ferris. The office is no help at all, maintenance does not come fix anything in your apartment no matter how many times you call and put in work orders, and is very overpriced for what you're getting. I have put in multiple work orders since the very first day I moved in and (now January when I moved in August) they have fixed nothing. Anything that needed to be cleaned or taken care of I have had to do myself because nobody comes no matter how many times I put in work orders. The overpriced apartments barely pass as livable. The day I was supposed to move in they told me "they can't give me a key because my apartment was so trashed from the previous tenant they didn't even want me to look in it let alone start to move in." When they told me it was ready for me to move in, it definitely was not. The carpets were still not clean and wet, it smelled like cigarette smoke and dog feces, the walls were not even finished painted (half of my living room wall is green while the other half is white), my front door does not close without locking with the dead bolt, bathroom door doesn't close, the floor is not leveled, the list goes on. Thankfully I do not pay for any utilities because I lose so much heat from poor insulation that in order to keep my apartment at a comfortable temperature I have to put my thermostat at 72 along with a space heater set at 75. Will NOT be renting from them next year.
