Dad brother and I stayed here for a 3 day week end of 4 wheeling amenities are old school but for trail riders its great to be able to pull the quads right up to the door. Would like to stay again on another 3 day weekend.

Stayed a week. Loved the room, management were fun and easy to like. All went well. Close to a store and gas. Go out parking lot and get to many trail systems.

Booked the place under the condition of purchasing a boat for fishing only to find out when we arrive they no longer do that, there's no AC, they get upset about giving extra linen, they didn't change our linen at all because of our "dogs" when they were kenneled. The shower head is a mist sprayer. The lake is pretty though

Rooms are small but perfect location for off roading and to be honest didn't plan to spend a ton of time in the room anyways.

Spent a few days here summer of 2016. My son and I trailered our UTV's up from North Carolina to spend some time playing on the sand trails, a great break from the southern clay and coal muck we typically ride on. Had a blast, ride right from your doorstep, gas is just across the street, a great supper club is just a few miles north of the resort (accessible by road or trail). Trailered over to Silver Lake Dunes for a day as part of our trip, only an hour away.
If you are there in the summer and are riding the trails, you need to ride to the far north end of the trail system to the "50 wide steel gerder bridge across the Manistee River, look to the south and there is a large, deep pool with a rope swing. The water is freezing cold, even in the middle of August, but when it's 90 degrees outside and your caked in dust from hours of riding, rope swing or not, a dip in that fast flowing pool is rejuvenating!
We always ended the day with a dip in the lake back at the resort, great for rinsing off before heading into the room.
For an older resort, the rooms are clean and in pretty good shape. I really wish resort owners would spend a little money on updating pillows, linens, and bed spreads! Wolf Lake is no different than so many other Midwestern resorts in the fact that the bedding is probably just as old as the facility itself!
THe area was very quiet at night, which was good because you HAVE to leave the windows open at night being that there is NO A/C. That and the bathroom was extremely tiny, I was not a big fan of the close proximity of the shower an.d sink to the toilet.
Anyway, our stay was very enjoyable, we hope to make it back again this year or next .

My family and I have been coming to Wolf Lake for 3 years now. Each and every time has been a blast. John is a great host, and we look forward to the trip every year. My only complaint is that we couldn't stay longer!

It's in perfect position. Near wolf lake so you can enjoy all the lake attractions and it is near all the quad trails so you can enjoy them too

Very very nice place to stay for the week or weekend. Very well maintained cabin resort. Price is beyond fair. Good swimming beach and the lake is beautiful! The staff are the best.
