Emergency room staff very nice, fast and knowledgeable. ICU staff nice and helpful. Overall a great experience.
Centregra's Labor and Delivery floor is absolutely excellent. We welcomed a new baby into the family this week and along with that amazing gift came a major (and very rare) complication. From the design of that floor, the fact that the surgical room was seconds away and the expertise of Dr. Stankevytch, and uncredible anesthesiologist and the best nurses around, everyone is happy and healthy. There aren't even words to express our thanks for their expertise, their compassion, their attentiveness and absolute professionalism.
This place is the worst. They should just call it No Sense Centegra. Nothing any of their staff does makes any gd sense. Honestly, if you are in an ambulance on your way to this hospital, you need to turn around or tell them to let you die. At least you'd be in peace and still have your dignity.
This is the worst place I have ever been. The communication in here SUCKS! They have regard to patient comfort levels. The Doctor on CDU2 did not even look at my chart, she had not even a clue why I was there. After my stress test they stuck me in a room where I was forgot about. I left this hospital in worse shape and pain then when I got there.
If I could give like a lot of other people I would. I was told that my son was approved for financial assistance and then I receive a phone call from Harris and Harris that I am in collections. The billing and financial assistance program are liars and to this date they still have not updated my address from 8 months ago! You wonder why I never received their supposed letters requesting more information. They lied and said they cannot take it back from Harris and Harris telling me Harris and Harris is really good to work with. Well when you are unemployed, good luck trying to get $.
I wish there was an option to do negative stars. My mother is currently in the stroke unit at this hospital. Her nurse (McKenzie) is extremely irresponsible and this irresponsibility could have killed my mom. She gave my mom her insulin at the wrong time yesterday which resulted in a 455 blood sugar (my mom is a type 1 diabetic) when I arrived at the hospital last night. Sadly today she has the same nurse. Since she has been back she has had it out for my mom. We complained about McKenzie to the night nurse yesterday. Now all of a sudden McKenzies attitude towards my mother has changed drastically. My mom was changing in her room when the nurse barged in. My mother just asked for one moment to put her shirt on then she'd open the door (which she did immediately). At that point my mom apologized then thought everything was ok. Next thing she knew security was ripping apart her belongings searching for "contraband" saying my mom was dangerous. The nurse then took my moms medication (that she wasn't even taking) from her purse and when my mom tried to take it back (not forcefully) the security guard restrained my mother scaring her terribly. I have been on the phone with this nurse who has nothing but attitude. I do not feel safe with my mother being under this nurses charge. They are refusing to let us talk to a superior. Refusing to give my mom stuff to drink. No one is allowed to visit my mother without first being searched. We have been kept in the dark with all of my mothers test results for the last 6 days she's been there. This hospital used to be great but I'm afraid their new staff is extremely incompetent and more of a hazard to people's health then anything else. We will not be returning after this.
The nurses were so nice to my Girlfriend and my baby. Staying in the hospital for several nights sucks but these nurses made it bearable. Robyn, Adriane and Julia.
I delivered my 2nd child there and the nurses where so helpful during and after labor I loved it there.
This place is the worst. I love my doctor, only hoped she was at another facility.
The billing department is awful.
ER staff is really great! They took care of me from the moment I was wheeled into the registration area.
Do not go here if you can help it. Nothing, but headaches with the billing department. They have messed up 3 of my bills and one was sent to collections even though I was paying on it. Worst hospital in the whole country. Will never go here EVER again. I will drive the extra 10 miles to Good Sheppard.
Let's put it this way, if I were in a life or death situation and I knew I was being transported to this hospital I would just say let me die!!! They are absolutely atrocious, and the level of paitent care is terrible, and let's not get started on their billing department, I once went to pay my balance in full and it was never even applied to my account, when i contacted them in regards to my issue they said they lost the check even despite it having been cashed already and posted to my bank account, this hospital is terrible and if you want my advice I would recommend mercy in lake Geneva they are amazing
My mother was vomiting blood and constantly in excruciating pain and so the doctors did scans and what not and tried to say nothing was wrong with her. Dr. HATER specifically. They stopped giving her oral medication and she started to get better, the next morning they put her back on them and she started vomiting again. They tried to release her saying nothing was wrong with her. I didn't believe it at first when I heard NIMC was terrible, but now that I have a loved one under their care I'm extremely unsatisfied and upset. They don't know what the F*%# they are doing. DO NOT go there unless you have to.
The pediatric unit here is wonderful. A few ER nurses seem to get very lazy near shift change and the patients are not priority at that time. If you feel the ER dr is dismissing you, do stand up for yourself. For my daughter it made all the difference. Instead of being sent home she was admitted and spent 3 days but her issue was resolved by a great ped's staff. I recently visited an office in the medical office building. While I love the doctor and staff, I hated the lack of communication between the staff and the front desk. This lack caused me both embarrassment and annoyance. Overall though I feel this hospital and its staff are some the best in the area and prefer this hospital. It won't allow 4 1/2 stars and I can't give 5 so I had to choose 4. In comparison, Condell only gets 1 star and that's being generous.
