I always feel well cared for and haven’t had any issues. Highly recommend Loyola
Worst customer service ever. Diana, Mia, Kimala or Kamala eaxh had me on hold for 23 mi utes just to schedule a mammogram. Ridiculous!!! After 5 years, time to look for a new hospital.
The immediate care center at Loyola is great for tests or minor illnesses. My wait this morning was only 15 minutes total before I saw a doctor. The doctor was courteous and informative. I was well taken care of.
The lab closes from 12-1 for lunch. It does not say that anywhere on their website. I took my lunch hour to come and get my bloodwork. Ridiculous that they have to close during that time when they have more than one lab tech and they could take turns instead of closing.
Came here for immediate care and I was very impressed. I was in and out with a diagnosis for my strep throat and a prescription sent to my pharmacy within 30 minutes. Staff was compassionate and attentive, the place is well kept and clean, I would definitely go back.
I called to make an appointment for a mammogram and I was transferred where I waited 12+ minutes. I called back and asked if I should expect to be on hold that long or had I been transferred somewhere else in error. Without answering my question, I was just transferred again. This time it was about 3 minutes and I was starting to get irritated because the switchboard operator had not answered by question and would I hold an hour, 20 minutes, what?? So I called back and asked the switchboard operator if I could talk to a supervisor in scheduling. I held for about 3 minutes and said she could only get voicemail and there was no one for me to talk to. I told her I would just call Silver Cross and make an appt. and she couldn't have been happier to not have to bother to find someone. I still don't know if holding 12+ minutes is what I should expect from Loyola. Maybe an hour is standard?? She never answered that question. I have had 3 mammograms at Loyola in the past, but it's just not worth it. I'll find a new Dr. too.
I like my doctor that I see at this facility but the nurses always seem to never know what's going on. I've complained about one nurse specifically and she still continues to make the same mistake every time I go. Other than that, it's a top notch facility
I love my doctor here! As someone with "White Coat Syndrome," they always make me feel at ease and are there to answer the hundreds of questions I have. The staff in both primary care as well as the walk-in clinic are generally friendly. The only time I've encountered longer waits was with the walk-in clinic, but that's to be expected especially at peak hours. I've called and left messages about refilling prescriptions and getting them sent to new pharmacies, and have received a call back quickly afterwards. Overall, it's a great, well-run facility with awesome doctors.
Fast, professional service was seen promptly. Tests take and was out in no time.
I've been here twice for employment related medicals which are fully reimbursed by my employer and therefore paid in office with my work credit card. Both times the amount was successfully deducted from my employers credit card but the money was never applied to my account. The first time they mailed a statement and I was able to then correct it, but the second time they sent me directly to a collection agency. Luckily since this is a work expense I have all of the required backup, but the stress and hassle to deal with it is not worth it, and I will never be using this facility again.
Edit: And after talking to their billing department which told me that payment in full at the office had been made, the error resolved, and that they would send me an apology letter for my trouble - I received a statement about a week later showing that I still have a balance due. This absolutely proves that their billing department is either a total mess or that they are trying to scam people out of money.
I have been seeing Dr Emmanuele in endocrinology for 6 years and she has made such a difference in my life . She is an amazing type 1 diabetes specialist and has helped me get my blood sugar under control, especially when so many other specialists were unable to. Her kind attitude , uplifting spirit and proactive approach, along with her expertise is what really sets her apart from any other Dr I have seen. She partnered with one of Loyola's nutritionists- Sara Mabin RN, (who has also been extremely helpful and accommodating) and together they assisted with finding the perfect insulin pump for me and in training me to learn how different factors affect my blood sugar on a daily basis. They are also excellent about getting back to you when you call with a medical necessity or concern .I highly recommended these health care professionals, they have made a profound difference in my daily battle with T1D & hypothyroidism.
The receptionist is very poliet. When it comes to the doctors, i wonder where they get their manners from. I had a nice doctor today. M previous visit i had a doctor tell me " Don't come back", because my child has special needs. Grow some balls or don't work with kids.
My child has the same problem every time he gets sick. I took my child to the immeiate care doctor, and the doctor can clearly see my child is sick. I don't want my child getting phenomia. They really fail to give out medication when needed. My visit ended with NO medication being sent home. This is why, I HATE Loyola. If your going to waist my time, i will waist yours.
I'm truely disappointed with Loyola Immediate Care.
Been at this hospital for over 20 years. Never found one better. We have moved to Florida and still keep our Dr Ozark. There is no better than him. If you doubt it try going somewhere else
