A very interesting place to go to experience, the food was okay to good. the service was slow. only one wait person the evening we were there for the whole bar and restaurant. Not a place to bring children
This is our 2nd visit. The hotel has changed in 10 years. But everyone there is fabulous. If you're looking for 5 star top of line service, you should look elsewhere. This hotel offers peace and tranquility without the white noise from the electronics attached to our hips. Hotel offers a great restaurant, highly recommend smoked salmon/ fish dip. Breakfast cafe is great as well. The mediums are all unique to their own specialties and definitely get a "feel" for one that gravitates to you.
Saturday night karaoke, our room is right on top of the bar. Hotel did not tell us about the party before we rented the room. It's impossible to sleep, hopefully they stop soon. My wife went to sleep in the car. It's now 11 pm, God I hope they stop soon.
12:30 still going strong, will this night ever end?
1am, it's been quiet for a while, I hope it's over.
The food was pretty good. I got a burger but ended up having to order another Patty because I wanted more food. I was told that that was the first time anybody ever did that. My company had a flatbread pizza that she didn't enjoy it at all. But all in all it was okay. The haunted house could have been way better. The actors weren't ready at times and didn't have their masks on and we're late to jump out and try to scare you for moved prematurely. But again, my company had a pretty good time going through it so I don't complain too much but it definitely wasn't worth the $15 to walk through it. Maybe like five
The ambiance is wonderful and everyone is friendly. One of my favorite places to stay! Great area with beautiful lakes and ponds.
This was the best, relaxing sleep I had in a long time. There are rumors that it is haunted but I didn't experience anything. Quaint and quiet, no tv's or phones in the rooms and the in house restaurant was fabulous. Would go back anytime I can get there!!
Sinatra restaurant in the hotel was wonderful. Plants and animals around were lovely. Readings weren't the best, but gave you something to talk about.
Just went for a simple lunch. The atmosphere of the hotel and restaurant is what I fell in love with. I had a simple chicken salad, but can't wait to return to really try the menu during a dinner hour.
Such an awesome hotel. They just happen to have a world-class resturant located in the lobby as well.
A unique place in a unique town - especially if you're into spiritualism. BTW the hotel has really good coffee if you like a dark roast.
Lovely evening at Cassadaga Hotelthe piano player there is absolutely fabulous, what a great treat to have such wonderful talent playing in this area!
Absolutely LOVE this hotel and staff! My best friend and I have been 3 times in the last 3 years and it is always a special place for us to relax, and rejuvenate spiritually. Highly recommend the restaurant, excellent food and service. I've also had excellent, spot-on readings by Aylah and Doreen.
Well, the site says "humble rooms" and they certainly are. Free-standing air conditioner, bed, small dresser, 2 nightstands, 2 tiny bedside lamps, and a pedestal sink in the bedroom. No closet or even a hook or rack for hanging clothes. No luggage rack. Two small glass shelves above and beside pedestal sink, but not large enough for my toiletries bag. Bathrooms could definately be improved! Cleanliness could also be improved. It is in an excellent location and the employees are friendly. Food in restaurant was good. They also have a nice gift shop and are across the street from the "psychic center". Hotel lobby is nice and contains period furniture. It was a bit too rustic for my taste. But, if you are into historic hotels and are not put off by the lack of modern amenties, it could be enjoyable.
