Love the proximity to everything Ludington. ..lake/river for kayaking, trails, not far to walk or bike to townthe state park is not far.about the only downside is no swimming right here. ..about 1 mile to the city beach.
Sites are good size, fairly level. The bathrooms are not very big, but I have always found them to de clean. Staff very friendly!

We stayed here in the summer of 2016. The campground was inexpensive, close to all things Ludington, and the experience was nice. We stayed in the rustic sites and enjoyed the quiet walks and scenery. The lake nearby was a nice touch. Ludington State Park is very close by also. A+ from me, I'd stay again.

2nd time staying here and another great experience! We will definitely make this a yearly stop. A couple of miles in either direction gets you to a public or state park beach. Great walking trails and a dog park within a 10 minute walk out back.

We absolutely love camping here. Spacious rustic tent sites, reasonably priced. Staff is friendly and helpful. Relaxing atmosphere, clean bathrooms. Perfect location - close to the beach, downtown, and a short drive to the state park and dunes. We camp here during Gus Macker basketball tournament as well and always have a great time.
