Good atmosphere. I hope AMC reopens this theatre as a Dine-In AMC with PRIME and BigD features.

I Only Gave 1 Star Because I Can't Give 0. Tickets For Movies Are a reasonable Price. BUT I Order 2 large Drinks 1 medium drink and a large popcorn and that cost 30$. Then I go into theater 4 to watch batman vs superman and it smells like dirty diapers. Theater was way to hot. The seats smelled badly. And the screen is completely smaller then all the other movie theaters I been too. . And restrooms were filthy with no toilet paper.
If going to go see a movie is this bad paying full price to see. I suggest waiting for OMNI to play the movie. Not only is the movie theater CLEAN. And SMELLS GOOD. But, Bathrooms Are Clean and prices are good for tickets and the food.
Save your money do not go to this movie theater until they actually have people who clean it and disinfect it.response / report this review -

We always have a pleasant experience when we attend here. The staff is friendly, helpful and welcoming. We have been here about a dozen times and have always enjoyed ourselves.

Too many ads! I have never been to a theater that shows this many commercials before a movie. He it is show time and we are STILL watching commercials! Not only that we have seen EVERY commercial twice. I would not come to this theatre again just because of this. I can see a movie anywhere.

I am more than willing to give a business a fair shake, however Carmike 12 is on my will not go back even if I am dying for 3 reasons.
1. Of the last movies I have seen their 2 movie screens had very visible stains on them, the 3rd had a large rip in the screen. All 3 looked like the damage had been there a while.
2. Went to go see a Star Trek in 2D because 3D movies makes me pukey and gives me a headache. I live some distance away so in order to get the best bang for the buck I usually see 2 movies per trip. Well they switched the theater playing the 2D version of the movie with the 3D version and they did not inform me or change the marquee. In talking with the manager I was told they switched it but they did not know or expect people to buy tickets in advance. WTF I buy tickets far in advance using online movie services all the time. Only reason why they are getting 2 stars is they gave me free movie tickets..
3. Using the free movie tickets I went to see a World War Z in theater #4 at 12:55, 12:55 comes and they are still playing commercials. I was not too concerned until it was 1:10 and commercials still going. I started to get up when the previews started sat through the 20 minutes of previews to find out White House Down was playing. I got up and looked at the marquee. They had SWITCHED World War Z to theater #9 WITHOUT TELLING ANYONE. The management had the balls to argue that we should have known and the commercials and previews do not last 40 minutes. They also where heavily hinting that we (their where several people including myself) just go catch World War Z that had already been playing for more than 30 minutes and shut up. Then to top it off the manager when on taking drink and snack orders for a good 10 minutes before coming back to us (we actually had to go interrupt him). The managers idea to resolve the issue more movie tickets. From the looks of the roll he had and the speed in which he produced it, I am guessing it's a common issue.
Their is a extreme lack of coordination and communication with this business. On top of that arguing with the customer, dismissing them and acting like they are not your priority is BAD business.response / report this review
