I've been coming here since I was a child. It's always a wonderful experience! Carla is most definitely in her element here! Always phenomenal quality guest service; extremely accommodating, e.g. I was driving up from the Ann Arbor area & was going to be in wayyy past normal check in time. She left the key for me & even came down to check on me herself to see how I was doing and if I needed anything. And the fish!?

I got a bit emotional because she makes it so similar to my late mother's and it was the best food (I haven't made myself that is as my Mom would say lol) I've had since I lost my Mother, the Yooper women know what they're doing with whitefish!

Great service and food. Came at the end of the evening and got salad bar, a lot of the food was not restocked. Other than that it was great!

The location was excellent, with amazing view of the lake. And the service was really good.
The rooms were well aged and the carpet in need of replacement , all in all in need of major renovations.

Beautiful view, clean, excellent friendly service. We had the Whitefish it had a wonderful corn meal breading that did not overpower the great taste of the fish.

Great location. Best view of any hotel in the area. Great restaurant with small hotel attracted. Clean, cozy rooms, pet friendly, non smoking rooms, but have a great little deck out front for relaxing and a smoke if you so desire. Very friendly, and welcoming, super affordable, and kind of old school hotel. But very cool.
