Absolutely loved staying here. It was perfect. Our suite was spotless and spacious, with a balcony overlooking the firepit with a view of the ocean. The beach is amazing, the grounds impeccable of course, this being a Disney property you wouldn't expect anything less. The pool was nice, although a bit shallow, but I get that, safety etc. The staff were always smiling and we enjoyed our meal at the restaurant very much. Recommend the swordfish, it was amazing. I can't think of a single negative thing to say about this resort. Highly recommended.

This is a great resort to chill and relax. We took a girls' trip down for a few days to enjoy the beach and relax after a very hectic year. The beach is nice (can be a bit rough) and the pool is heated. There is plenty to do around the area; talk to the cast members for ideas as most of them are locals and really friendly. The resort also provides plenty of activities for guests to enjoy. Some are free and some cost. I got to enjoy resort activities that I'm usually too busy to do when we go to Disney World. There is no business center or available computers, so be sure you have what you need if you need to check into work or home. Also, I wish Disney would make the soda machines available 24/7, especially since it will only unlock with your resort mug or a time coded cup. Regardless, this trip was so nice and there's enough to do that we are thinking of making this an annual thing.

Great place and beautiful rooms with many activities. Staff was overall friendly, except the waitstaff at the restaurant. Wind and Waves. Would recommend that you don't eat there. Stayed a week and after dinner there the first 2 nights we decided that eating out or at the cafe for a much better experience!! **Hosts are too preoccupied to sit you, food was raw or undercooked, and waitress overcharged us for the food**

Living in Melbourne, FL it is a beautiful casual drive to the resort. The rooms are wonderful with beautiful views. Everyone is so helpful and there are so many places to visit and things to do. Concierge is great at finding the perfect things for you to do. It is a great place for a perfect relaxing vacation.

Great location with very nice beach and many nearby choices for dining as well as those located at the resort. Typical Disney spotless comfortable and spacious rooms many with ocean views. We've stayed here several times and will be back again.

This is a nice place to go and just chill. They have daily events for kids and teenagers as well. The rooms have been remodeled within the last year and are really nice. The beach is private and not crowded or rowdy at all. However, if the weather is bad, there isn't a whole lot to do except hang out in your room or in the bar.

We were so pleased with Chef Doug at the Wind and Waves Grill. When we asked about vegan options Chef Doug came to our table and customized the most pleasant meal ever! He described in detail how each item was cooked and all available ingredients to choose from. He personally delivered the finished delicacy which was both beautiful and scrumptious! Thank you Disney and of course Chef Doug for making this evening a memorable experience!

This is our third trip here.
It's an excellent place with all sorts of fun activities!! They even have a small pond for fishing right on the resort property. There is a small underground tunnel to get to the lake. The pool is a lot of fun and they do poolside bingo and trivia some days. The activities you can do change daily. Definitely recommend coming here!!

The renovations are top notch and totally bring the resort up to speed in terms of the cost. It's kind of difficult to comment on the staff; one can definitely sense the recovery from the hurricane, as they seem to be pretty understaffed at the moment. It took more than an hour after check in time to get into our suite. The restaurant staff is amazing, the menu is solid and the dishes are amazing. The service is astounding, and they are doing very well at covering for a lack of availability in some ingredients - it would be great to see the menu updated to reflect this, but if it is a standard, static menu, I imagine changes on a daily basis (based on the availability of certain selections) would be pretty expensive. The activity staff is solid, as per the norm at a Disney resort.

We have visited this location three times over the last few years with our Disney Vacation Club points. Each has offered a unique experience. They have private beach access and a pool with a large water slide for relaxation and various activities such as arts and crafts, mini golf, bikes, volleyball, and campfires to keep the whole family busy. The staff are friendly and accessible on a whole. Our only issue in the last few years was in getting into our room on our last visit. An error in check in delayed our room for several hours and seems to have given our cleaning crew little time to prepare our room. The original person who made the error also told us that we could not reserve the character breakfast. My husband, however, was able to schedule on his own. Management was quick to address the issue when discovered and we had a lovely time overall.

Received a tour of this great resort! It was so much more than I thought or expected. Great tour guide in our private little golf cart! Several different rooms options. GREAT pool for the kids! Lots of activities & a Character Breakfast that is sure to please!! Bought our "Disney Pins" for our upcoming drip to Disney World.

The room was nice, but the bed was very hard. The employees are all great (as with every Disney resort I've stayed at!). I would not recommend the pirate night on Monday. 100$ for my wife, 8 year old daughter and myself to eat a very limited selection of all you can eat BBQ. I would have rather gone to Sonny's and paid 30$ for the same thing (and Sonny's tastes better). Other than that everything was great.

We chose Disney's Vero Beach resort to celebrate our son's 10th birthday. The stay has been great! We are in the main building with an ocean view. Amazing! We've spent most of our time swimming. The beach access is great. The weather has been perfect. And we love the changes they made to the pool side snack shack which is now a great quick service location. We love it here!

Disney's Vero Beach Resort is a family friendly pirate-themed beach side resort. The various lodges are separated by lush gardens which provide nice aesthetics and privacy. The central pool has a large spiral slide and beach access is right near by. The resort offers lots of amenities such as mini-golf and bike rentals, but be prepared to pay extra for most services. The staff is quite helpful and friendly. The rooms have nice furnishings and beach themed artwork.
