I have so much fun every time I come here. If you're looking for a great time at a good rate, this is it.
The employees are fun, the river is beautiful, and it's actually shaded for most of the time.
We've even done the moonlight river trip at night that they have once a month and it was such a blast! The music was fun, the food was great, and it was so cool kayaking at night

Peaceful camping and kayaking spot! The bus is amazing!! Clean bathrooms and showers, friendly staff and so happy I can bring my dog! I'll definitely go back.

Had a great time here. The cabin had a new feel to it, staff is awesome, great camping area with large space for group tent camping. Had no issues whatsoever. Kayaking was great too, it's a challenging river with a lot of trees and shallow waters at places but had a great time paddling.

I was very disappointed during my visit this past weekend. Sadly, this place has really declined since last year. Guests are treated very disrespectfully by the owner. He seems to lose control of his manners and is quite unprofessional in handling issues which will greatly affect his future business. Severals campers lost power during our visit. We were told breakers needed to be reset by staff and to let them know if it continued. We did, but after waiting way too long for power to return, some campers left since it was cold. There doesn't seem to be sufficient power to handle the area. This seems evident if breakers need constant resetting. There were plumbing problems too, with lines building up at the bathrooms. These things might have been easier to tolerate if the owner hadn't been so rude. A little kindness goes a long way. He seems to be letting the place get run down. Garbage is not emptied in a timely manner and is spilling out of cans. Our group of campers will NOT be coming back here.

Spent the weekend here, though I didn't stay in a cabin or RV as it seemed many people did, I was in the "primitive" camping area. Staff & most other fellow campers are friendly, and I personally enjoyed having the guard kitty roam the land.

The 1st night I was tbere, something was moving about in our campsite, but I wasn't willing to go out and see what it was. Eventually Ms. Kitty came by, had a little fight with it, and it went away.

100% would recommend, especially for the river.

This was a first for the Core Four. We had a great time. Took a wee bit longer than the 2.5 hours but for 1st time canoeing not too shabby. The river was low & cool. We saw turtles galore. Good family bonding time. Will do again.
