I went on a trip almost twenty years ago, with a friend. It was a lifetime experience. We went in May, so the rivers were running high, fast and cold from the mountain spring thaw. Just the way I like it. The New River was closed due to dangerous conditions. We rafted the Gaully River insteaf. This was my first time in class VI rapids. I have rafted in class III and IV many times on the "Yo". The guides were incredible. Everybody in the raft was working non-stop.
Later, when we had dinner at the lodge, we watched a video taken of our river adventure.
It was a magnificent experience that I often dream of doing again.

I have only been white water rafting one time so I can't "compare" Class VI to anyone else. However, I CAN say that I had an absolute blast and our guide made it even better. BTW, John Pinette fans, he is WRONG! White water rafting IS fun, no lying required! :-)

Class VI is one of the best companies I have taken a rafting trip with. Our guide, Eddie, was great and knew a lot about the river and surrounding area. He definately made sure we had a great trip on the river! The river itself had a lot of great rapids, so make sure you have a good group of people on your raft.
