I pass through the San Diego area on a regular basis and always make an effort to come here for breakfast. They only serve it on the weekends. Their baked pancake is great. Can't beat the view either.

The hostess was a bit your, but my waiter was cheerful and food was good and reasonably priced. Beautiful view!

We went to Coronado Island for lunch and coming off the ferry we decided on Mexican food. This place was not only fabulous, but very reasonable and the staff very friendly. They had the best meal we had all weekend.

One of my favorite places with a great view. Perfect for date night: start with a great dinner by candle light and then walk along the pier while looking out at the beautiful downtown San Diego skyline. The food is very reasonably priced too.

Second time at this location, the service wasn't great the first time but I decided to give it another try. Not the best decision, I walked in and the hostesses seemed to be really annoyed that someone interrupted their conversation requesting a table.
The table where we sat had tons of dust, I got it all over my arms and of course I wanted to wipe it off so I went to the restroom and there was paper towels all over the floor (I get their idea that the restroom looks nicer with small trash cans, but if they are not going to maintain them might as well just get the conventional ones), there was no toilet paper and one of the 3 sinks they have wasn't working. 😑😑😑
I went back to my table and the server showed up a few minutes later, he took the order and it didn't take very long to be delivered unfortunately it was all wrong, the soup was cold and it had a scoop of greasy burnt cheese, I never asked for black beans, the lime was brown.. I couldn't notify the server because he never went back to check on us, I even had to ask a bus boy to get the check for us because he was nowhere to be found. If I have to describe my experience at this place with one word it'll be HORRIBLE!!!

The only thing it had going for it was the view. Every Mexican restaurant we've ever been to gives you chips and salsa. We had to order it and chips were soggy and not enough for 4 people. Don't even get me started on the $14.95 taco bar. You call that a bar? There were 4 choices of meat, cheese that was almost gone, rice and beans. The only thing I would recommend is the deck outside. And the seafood tacos did not have fresh fish. Very disappointed. Just because you can benefit from the name Coronado doesn't mean you should provide such low grade food

2nd time in a week for us. Breakfast pancakes with grandkids excellent service and dining. Today happy hour. Dimitri manager and bartender Anthony engaged and attentive. Fabulous view. We're locals and happy to patronize this gem.

Service was great. This is different from any Mexican food I have ever eaten. The nopalitos salad was interesting but lacked dressing. My companions enjoyed the pasta. The entree tasted good but, again, it was different. The view is spectacular.

Great food. Great Service. While, I read a couple negative reviews on their service, this was not my experience. George was our waiter. He was great. Food was also excellent.

First and last time I ever eat there. Food was horrible and the service was even worse. Restaurant was empty and it took them forever so serve our food. Waiter was rude and didn't want to be bothered and the food was just gross. I've had better Mexican food at a taco shop.. it's bland and there is nothing authentic about it. It was such a disappointment.
