My Family and I bought a used 2015 Toy Hauler from Camping World of Savannah. This was our first RV and I was definitely out of my comfort zone because my knowledge of RV's is very limited. My first interaction was with Kenneth Brayboy. Kenneth and I spoke over the phone because I live in Boone, NC. Kenneth was extremely polite and professional. He worked with me and listened to all of my needs/concerns. We were able to come to a verbal agreement over the telephone and I made the commitment to drive down a few days later. Obviously, I was concerned about not seeing the RV in person, wondering if there was any hidden fee's I was not made aware of and that someone would be installing a hitch first thing in the morning. I called Kenneth and explained my timeline and concerns I still had. Kenneth said "Mr. Brown we have you taken care of and we are just waiting on you to come down".
I arrived on Sunday morning at 8:00 a.m. where my truck was promptly taken back to have the hitch installed. While the hitch was being installed a guy named Kyle took me to my RV and explained everything in great detail. Kyle was simply great to learn from and knew how to explain/demonstrate how to set everything up and run it. Two thumbs up on his end!
Kenneth was scheduled off that day but came in to take care of me and ensure everything was handled correctly. Kenneth took me to Lexie who handled all the finance paperwork. Lexie was extremely proficient, polite and personable; he had me out the door in no time.
Last but not least, Barbara with sales. Barbara was amazing! At the end of the day I went around my truck and noticed my turn signals were not working. I went back inside and told Barbara. Not only was she able to find the problem, she spent several minutes trying to find the right fuse for my truck to fix it.
I can't say enough good things about my experience. It was worth my drive and time to talk and purchase from them. I would recommend them to anyone.

I work over across the street and the employees over there are horrible!!!! Why would you park in someone else parking lot and take the good spot next to the entrance? That is rude. They park the broke down campers in our lot for tricks. I went over to politely asked them to move the camper and cars for being illegally parked and it was a young black man who was so rude. Said it wasn't our property which it is and then said do what you have to. Tow it I don't care. Like it could have been I'm sorry I'll get them to stop parking over there. But no want to cop an attitude an be rude. They finally moved some when I got on the phone with a tow truck. We have a dirt and gravel for our trucks to park and they are all in it. That is so rude to not even care about the fact that you are hurting another business but can't even act like an adult and admit your wrong and just move the cars. So rude! One of my customers it took them 1 month to fix their camper. They need to look at all the employees over there and weed them out.

Kenny, our sales rep, was outstanding and very knowledgeable. All of the staff at Camping World helped us through each step from choosing a camper to leaving the lot with it. We went in around 5:00 p.m. and left with our camper and all of our camping needs that night! How's that for great service?!

Terrible sales manager. To sorry to even get up out of his chair to answer a simple question. Sales staff not very knowledgeable. Will spend our money somewhere else.

My salesperson Mr Gassman was superb. He got me the right travel trailer at an excellent price. He helped me throught all the details. The mechanics there are extremely smart and knowledgeable and showed me the operations of the trailer in great detail. I am enjoying camping in it now just 1 day after purchasing. Thanks!

Rick preacher was very helpful and knowledgeable. The other staff members at this location were extremely friendly and courteous. They made our purchase easy and stress free. They fixed all of the little things we asked and then some! Great experience overall! Left there feeling good about our purchase! We would highly recommend them!

Sales "Stephine" are easy to deal will. Service needs to step it up. Would of been 5 stars due to that when I had to buy a brake controller and a 7 way plug. They spent 7hrs on and still didn't have the wiring right. Having to take to the dealer. See if they can fix. Witch they will pay for the fix. Bought used

great experience during and after the sale. i have brought my new Mallard in for a few minor warranty issues but my family love the camper. Our salesman put us on the perfect camper. The service has been great as well everything in needed to know was explained to me.

I bought a couple of months back and just got around to this. My buying experience was excellent. Rick Preacher our sales associate was knowledgeable and patient, and helped us find the right unit for us. We knew basically nothing when we started and got a complete RV education. We had some problems on our 1st trip but a phone call to Rick and our problems were solved. Although service has been a challenge,overall our experience was positive.

I'll fill in my review completely later because this place has already wasted so much of my valuable time, but for now I'll boil it down to the horrible service after the sale.

Update:

Do NOT buy from this place.
We bought a 2017 Heartland Mallard and it was the worst experience with no service after the sale.

Let's start with the missing a/c register in the living room that the "service guy" thought I wouldn't notice he replaced with the one from my own bathroom (still haven't received the replacementit's been almost a year). Apparently, they keep ordering the wrong part. Or they're straight up liars.

A couple months after purchase, the heater started igniting and clicking and blowing at the same time as the air conditioner.
It took an act of Congress to get the repair guy out to "fix" it (he found a live bare wire under our sink) AND guess what? We're now in below freezing weather and the stupid heater is at it againand blowing COLD air non-stop. And of course we can't reach anyone anywhere to schedule warranty repair. I'm freezing my ass off and cursing CW Savannah for two straight days.

Camping World met all of our expectations when buying our first camper. Rick Preacher dealt with me for several months as I was trying to decide what exactly I wanted. After showing us numerous campers we finally found our match. Every detail of the purchase was exceptional. Everyone was very helpful in getting anything we needed. I would highly recommend going here if you are looking for a camper.

Camping World "Savannah" is one of my favorite places to shop for my RV supplies of which there on site selection seems to always be expansive. They even have a really great selection of generators & powering supplies, which came really handy during hurricane Matthew!!! Everyone one there that is in direct contact with customers has been really polite and professional. A shining example of this sentiment is Ashley Knoch. I live around here and do most of my shopping for RV equipment here and as such have ran into her on several occasions. On every occasion she has been polite, professional, knowledgeable and extremely helpful. Her attitude and actions are a credit to the other fine folks who also work Camping World Savannah.
