I did this from Charleston to Savannah. I give 4 stars only because Union Station and NY have the best train stations. Very clean bathrooms and station. Actually when restrooms were out of service, they brought portable trucks that turns into a state of the art bathroom wirh perfect ventilation, good soap and quality toilet paper and towels. The type of bathrooms you see in high level events! Man! If only Amtrak could have these quality bathrooms on the actual trains and upgrade their food pantry, I would be a fan..Right now, I highly recommend you stop over at the Savannah station.

Great, a little dated needs remodeling but staff is friendly and it's well lit inside and out. Have left my car for a few days with no problems but there is no security.

The station itself was clean. There is no food concession but Stoners Pizza delivered Pizza there. There was also some construction in the women's bathroom. Boarding was organized and fairly quick. The long-distance trains sometimes suffer with the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Roomettes and sleeper cars have been very good experiences for me. The staff and the rooms have always been professional grade!response / report this review -

Looking at the previous reviews, this station has been updated (Hence the 4-Stars) but confused that there aren't any outlets to recharge your electronics. Watching a movie or using your phone sure would help the 3-Hour delay go by faster. Other than that, the place is huge with plenty of vending machines (Prices are pretty low) I have no ther qualms.

Always nice to come here! The place has plenty of chairs, the people r always nice & the Red Cap has always been helpful! I've been riding Amtrak to here 4 years & despite living in Oklahoma now, I recently took a trip back to the east coast to visit family & 1 leg of the trip happened 2 b a train ride here. Love the design, the facility, & location & hope 2 come here again 4 yrs 2 come!

So it took 15 hrs to get here not to many people work here and there was only two bathrooms working no outlets really to charge your phone oh and from 1:55- 5 p.m they close the station . I didn't have a car so the work there told me I'll have to sit out side . They usually close at 1:30 but he said he felt bad and let me stay alittle longer to get warm. I was freezing out side only good thing was that the port-a- potty was cleaner ten the actual bathroom inside would not recommend this to anyone who doesn't have a car , Uber was not cheap either It's pretty inside tho but don't go

Open and spacious interior. Very friendly staff. Lots of space to sit inside inside or out.

I have traveled via this station numerous times. The staff is always polite and courteous. They don't hesitate to go out of their way to assist you.
