My handicapped son has been going to Camp Courageous for many years.
He loves it and so do I.
Well worth the money, and some special needs people ( kids and adults) have medical wavers that pays for it.
It's a camp for the people who have mental and/ or physical handicaps.
It's the best camp ever.
There are week long camps and respite weekends and other stuff too.

Love going to Camp Courageous. There is something fir everyone. It is a great place to relax and have fun with friends and family. We especially like Saturday morning swim time. Also, their Winter garage sale is full of exceptional bargains and huge variety of items, hour to hour, day to day and week to week.

Amazing and awesome program and camp intellectually challenged individuals . My aunt and I went to fundrasier . We had a great time buying things from the Camp Courageous garage sale . We will go back after her surgery.

Went to the annual fundraiser. The pancake breakfast. The kids loved checking out all the things, the campers could do, while they are there. Also got to ride the train.

Awesome camp and staff. Can't say enough great things about it. My son has been going for years and absolutely loves it. We feel perfectly safe leaving him in the capable hands of the staff.

The cabins were great. The location S nestled in a beautifully wooded area. Great place for Retreat and Refresh Stroke Camp. The staff is very friendly and helpful for this kind of camp.

5 stars are not enough - 50 stars still wouldn't be enough!! My daughter has been fortunate enough to attend Camp Courageous since she was 7 years old - this will is our 15th year participating with this wonderful place. Camp Courageous is staffed by incredible people with a passion for their work and compassion for the campers. Turnover of staff is very low - some of the faces we met on our first visit are still there. Over the years, my daughter has attended week long camps, weekend respites and participated in the Travel Program. Even though we moved away from the area, we still come back so she can have her special times at Camp Courageous - summer camp is the highlight of her year!
