Beautiful place. Looking for retirement housing in Southern Florida. Great location and very nice housing.

Leasing center is nicely decorate, spacious waiting area with sofas and high-waisted and chairs. We visited on a Sunday around 11 am and we had to wait around 40' since there were 2 more couples ahead of us. The nice lady showed us the complex which is beautiful including the pool and gym areas. What we didn't like much (reason why we didn't rent there) was:
1) INSIDE the pool there were 4 people drinking beer (we have little ones)
2) the apt has not big/spacious living room also the bedroom are upstairs which is not convenient when little ones are playing (alone) and mom has to cook or work downstairs. The finishes are ok nothing compared with leading center.response / report this review -

I have been renting at Camden Doral Villas for 2 years. I have found the customer service, either onsite, or on the phone to be fantastic. They are responsive, friendly, and approachable. The unit was comfortable, and met my needs exactly. Highly recommend!

I do NOT recommend this place. I've been living here for the past 10 months and I'm looking forward to the end of my lease. The place is supposed to be gated and secure, but the gate is always broken. Anybody can go in. Totally UNSAFE! I have neighbors that party all night and bring people totally questionable and no body say a thing. I asked them many times to clean the mold of my windows and they won't! because that window is one the side and new residents can't see them. They change a lot of money and don't deliver what they promised us. AVOID IT!

I have been a resident at Camden Doral Villas for 3 years now and I wanted to make sure that when I decided to review this community that it would be with some years of living here versus writing a review when I immediately moved in. With that said, it’s been 3 years and we’re very happy here. With every community, you have your pros and cons. I can say that the pros significantly outweigh the cons.
Pros:
Maintenance Team: I have always been impressed with the turnaround for any service I have requested and the professionalism from the maintenance team. They hire very respectful, professional and savvy individuals. As a mother, this is a big relief for me - I know I can depend on them to get any problem fixed correctly and quickly. And if for some reason (very rare for us) they can’t solve a problem right away, then they make sure to communicate with you regarding the delay. I can’t say enough nice things about them – they are a big part of why we choose to renew our stay here.
Management and Leasing Consultants: I’m so glad I waited to write this review. A big reason is for the change in management this past year. The new manager at our site is the perfect fit for this community. She is efficient, patient, professional and approachable. As you may see in other reviews, the manager before was just not a good fit for this community. Our new manager, Melinda, is part of the team. She’s not the manager that secludes herself from the staff or thinks a job is beneath her. Melinda goes around the community making sure the community is being taken care – so much so to even pick up trash herself… Something I never saw the previous manager do – in fact we barely saw him for that matter. She has been a breath of fresh air for us here. It takes a lot to make everyone happy and to fix all the issues that may arise, but she definitely tries her best and wants to solve problems.
The leasing consultants are wonderful, as they have always been since day one. They are also professional, approachable and respectful. They respond to all my emails quickly and efficiently.
Overall, the current team at Camden Doral Villas is exceptional.
Community: This community is beautiful. It’s peaceful, clean and a great place for families and pet owners. There is plenty of parking, a great playground and dog park. The lake is beautiful and always clean. The pool is beautiful and well kept. Our guests always comment that they feel like its Disney in here.
Con:
Rent: Rent has increased drastically in the three years that I have been here. This is not something that Camden Doral Villas can control as Doral, FL is becoming a place that many people and young families want to move to, so the cost of living has increased. However, something that I think Camden should look into is the grace period for payments. 10% after the 3rd of the month seems excessive. I believe that residents should have at least until the 5th of the month. Previous places I have rented at allowed up to the 10th of the month. This is a con directed to the company, not this specific community.
Overall, we are VERY pleased here and recommend it to anyone looking for a great community in a great safe neighborhood with great schools, parks and restaurants.response / report this review -

I relocated back to the Doral/miami area a few months ago. I decided to go with Camden Doral villas as it was truly pet friendly, (not a place that claims to be pet friendly and then tells you no pets over 10 pounds allowed) and the entire staff has been very accomodating. Usually most places are always quick with a "no", the moment you ask to be accomodated or have any requests. I have not been the easiest tenant and from day one, the manager Melinda, has been very helpful and nice and has offered help wherever it was reasonable and possible. Ive also experienced the same helpful attitude and very quick responses from the leasing staff, yemlys and Karla. Both have been very proffessional and friendly, and have done their best to respond to my needs as issues have come up. The staff also made my move in day very easy and smooth in working with my arrival date and getting into my unit. Recently due to some medical issues I made some requests that could have easily been turned down, but The entire staff accomodated ny needs in a very short period of time and with a smile the whole time. Good luck finding service like that in this day in age. This , is obviously is a reflection of the corporate office and the management who is understanding enough to at least weigh and consider situations that may be out of the norm, as well as hire competent and caring employees that are capable of discerning and handling their job effectively, as well as reach out to corporate for help instead of passing the buck and saying no from the get go. In addition to the above, the maintenance staff is friendly and the place is quiet, and in a perfect location near the turnpike which makes it easy to avoid the traffic that exists closer to 87th ave and the palmetto. I am happy to recommend this apartment complex to anyone who wants to have a positive experience during the time they are renting.

Camden Doral Villas is a genuinely wonderful place to live. The staff are incredibly friendly, helpful, and go above and beyond what would be expected when it comes to assisting you. I cannot sing their praises enough. The landscaping within the community is always top notch and maintained so well. Aesthetically it is always a pleasure pulling in and I regularly see crews out maintaining the grass and surrounding foliage.
The apartments themselves are great. Personally, I have had no issues with loud neighbors or faulty/old equipment. Everything has been maintained very, very well and it is easily my favorite apartment I have had the pleasure of living in.
The amenities are also nice - the pool is kept very clean, has a beautiful view of the lake/pond (as seen in the pictures). The gym is also kept very clean, has a moderate amount of equipment (although I would not mind seeing more if ever possible), but provides a great place to maintain fitness when public gyms in the area seem to be overrun and entirely disorganized. If you are looking for a place to powerlift, however, this probably won't be it (but have no fear, there are gyms within 10 minutes of here.)
My only advice would be to visit multiple apartment units if possible, as some of them have been renovated and others have not. Some places may not look exactly like the pictures, and I would hate anyone to feel disappointed.
Over all, so happy with Camden Doral Villas. Great area, incredibly close to the highway, and some of the friendliest staff I've ever experienced. Best of luck to the others out there looking for their next apartment!response / report this review -

Love living at Camden Doral Villas! It is a beautiful, well-kept, and peaceful community. Great location for shopping, restaurants and schools! Amenities are great! 24 hour gym and resort style pool. Staff is always helpful and maintenance is always available when you need them. Units are like townhomes so this gives you a nice “home” feel. I have been a resident for almost 3 years and proud to be a Camden Employee as well!
